that's what I have for my overrides. you can change alot of the stuff to whatever you want, like colors and what the comment text says. if you don't understand the overrides maybe you can tell me how you want your layout to look and the comment links to say and I'll do it??

On the left of LJ under 'Your Settings' click on 'Modify Journal'. At just about the bottom of the page there is an overrides box, paste it in there and customize it however you want.

- Go to Modify Journal.. they have tons of mood smilies.
- Making your own layout for the first time is a bitch. Believe me, I know. But once you get the HTML codes you want, its easy.:)

And I have a free account. My life isnt interesting enough to pay to talk about it.:o

Nah, you don't have to have a paid account to have a good looking journal. Look at mine. ;) Anyway, all you need to do is make a layout and then use Kristina's override code which is on the first page of this journal. She posted it for me when I didn't know how to do it. Just copy what she has and change a few things and paste it (after going to Manage > Customize > Modify Journal) into the OVERRIDE box located at the bottom and presto you've got a neat looking journal.

What I've found is that it's really confusing to use the HTML for your LJ...they created their own code...So a lot of the time, you'll mess up and have to redo part of it...but it's so fun.
