I would probably remove one of my shopping channels, since I never buy anything from them and I almost never watch them.

I would immediately and emphatically remove E!

Most of the news channels we have. One or two is fine, but we have like 10 that show exactly the same thing.

The channel where they play the local crap over and over.

If I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLY had to choose, though...The religion channel they have here.

But I would also remove the following:

-All 10 sports channels.
-All news channels except for CNN.
-MTV
-Disney (We got Disney when it was a PAY channel, WAY back in 1994/95. Now, it's PLAIN CRAP. I'd like to slowly kill the guy that brought out Disney and changed it to a kiddies channel. WHERE ARE THE FAMILY MOVIES THEY USED TO HAVE BACK THEN?!?!?! DIE DIE DIE DIE)
-Both QVC and HSN channels. UGH.
-TNN, the stupid car channel they have here (not sure of name) and Court TV.

I think I would only have about 10 or so channels out of 60 after this BIG cleanup. :livid: :livid:

I have several Discovery Channels somewhere on my dial. One of them appears to show black and white footage of WWII fighter planes on a continuous loop.
I could probably do without that one.

Many of the channels listed by others here before me have interesting programs. Some channels have more of interest than do other channels.

I rely on CNN for important national and world news. Discovery is informative. PBS has good drama. C-Span, though not something that I watch, is a good way to educate people on how the government runs. Most channels have something that interests someone.

Many of the channels get repetitive; many duplicate what is seen on other channels. Kind of like TV Land and Nick @ Nite vs Hallmark, or any other channel that shows old reruns.

^You'll be surprised at the amount of viewers they get.

But, I mean here in L.A.- we SERIOUSLY have some USELESS/POINTLESS channels:
-The Caltrans Channel- it shows a plain freaking map of the freeways/interstates around L.A.
-The CSU Dominguez Hills/USC Channel- it's just a bunch of idiotic college students messing with video equipment, and the rest of the time is a schedule of classes.
-Local News- it's like a cheap power point presentation that keeps on showing the same news over, and over again.

If you have those channels you will consider the rest of the channels in your line-up worth keeping!

Other than that I consider C-Span, C-Span 2, 4 CNN's, 5 Discovery Channels, 2 History Channels... quite a waste of space.

I think that those channels should of sticked to their MAIN channel, and not sprout to a whole set of mess of channels.

All those stupid channels centered around one boring thing. You know, like the Golf channel and the Fishing channel.

MTV needs to die. VH1 is so much better.
