I have had the worst day today. Ok, so I'm cruing down the main drag and I turn on my turning signal so I could drive into the parking lot of school. Well, I have to wait until the light turns green, so I do and stop my car. Then it stops. The engine just gives out. I tried turning it back on, but no good. I was parked in the middle of the main street for about 5 minutes. So this girl I know in the car behind me comes up from behind and asks me what's wrong. I tell her my story, so she tells me to put the car in neutral. So I do, and she stars to push the car while I turn so we can get into the parking lot. Well it turns out since my brakes locked in, my steering wheel decided to do so too. So now I'm standing diagonal in the middle of the right side of the road, so traffic comes to a hault. God, I was so embarrased, I just wanted to crawl into a hole an die. So I go outside and open up my hood and this huge cloud of smoke goes right into my face. The engine was so overheated, you could scramble eggs on it. So now, I'm blocking traffic in the busiest part of town until the principal, his assistant, and an officer come out to my car, along with 4 or 5 of my friends. So now we have to wait for the police officer to stop the traffic in the other direction so we can push my car out of the way and into the parking lot. Well, it took like 4 people to push since they had to push it uphill, and I'm sitting in my car trying to steer with a locked-in steering wheel. We make it in, and I leave it on the side of the parling lot too cool for an hour until class is over with all my windows rolled down. I'm late for class and I come back, turn the ignition, and it's purring like it's brand new. Moral of the story? If you get a message on your dashboard that says 'Check Gages', DON'T IGNORE IT. The whole ordeal made me 20 minutes late to class. Worst and most embarrasing day of my life yet.

So....if you're as pissed of as me at something or just wanted to rant about something, do so. I couldn't find the other thread, so I just started this new one.

I'm sorry to hear that, Chris. That really sucks. My mom's car recently got a new engine because her old one was just ready to go anytime. In Drama class my group just got a crappy scene that we have to memorize and perform. It's about these three women taking action for women's rights on the banks of Delaware river in 1776. That's all I've got to complain about today.

Anyway, this sounds like nothing, but the font on my computer is totally messed up. I think I did something to alter it and now it's totally bugging me...it's the tiniest change in my font but it is still driving me insane!!! The littlest things like that drive me crazy..ugh, I have been trying to get it back to normal for the past 2 days but it's just not cooperating with me...grrrrrr...

But of course I can't whine and complain TOO much because I'm on here on a WEEKDAY....!!! :D

school- it was the seniors last day so a lot of my friends left, and then i had a study hall that turned a lot of things upside down and i have no clue what im doing and whats going on right now. to make it worse my friends keep asking me about all of it and making me feel even worse...(ill post what exactly this is later...)
then i had a long rehearsal w/ a lot of unsympathic people and thought i was going to go crazy
i got home and there was a HUGE accident on the street near the school and my house and i freaked out because it was right when one of my friends was supposed to be leaving. but it wasnt them, thank god. but i couldnt go home because the road was crazy, so i went to my friends and spent 3 hours reviewing my messed up life to her and getting a lot of "awws" and "that sucks" and not much help....

now im home, and feeling like im the biggest idiot in the world.

Most of my cousins are stuckup and will not speak to me. It really makes me mad and sad all at the same time. They make me feel like I am so worthless and no good. They would cheer and dance if I fell off the face of the face of the earth. I am used to having people around here hating me and acting like they are better than me but it still hurts having people treating me like a piece of trash.

I'm really sorry, Chris, Cara, Jessica and everyone. :(

I have an extremely stupid complaint - I'm in this mood today where I laugh at absolutely everything that's said, even if it's not funny. It got embarrassing at times...

Oh bad day. Bad, bad, bad, bad day. Let's start off from this morning shall we?

The power just randomly goes off early this morning. Did I mention that it was only in my room? So my alarm clock gets reset and I don't wake up @ 6:30 when I'm supposed to. My mom barges into my room @ 6:55 yelling at me to wake up. I realize how late it is so I'm scrambling around the house to get ready. I get ready and am out the door in 7 minutes. Fast. I get to school, run to Ms. Campbell's room to drop of my survey so she can make copies and then I run to Chorus. Joc is in Chorus so she tells me about her night and I tell her how my morning's going and how I'm not even awake so she starts to yell at me to wake up and starts waving her hands so I can snap out of my daze. What does that lead to? Her getting a detention for 1. Being too loud in the beginning of class and 2. She wasn't in the right seat. Great, I got my friend a detention. I felt really bad. And then in Science we have a test. I didn't study, I had such a hectic night last night that I just didn't even open my book to review. I'm worried about what my grade will be when we get them back tomorrow. Spanish, go me. I screw up again. I ask Joc something and she answers me, in English, Ms. Campbell hears her and gives her an F for the day. The second time I get Jocelyn in trouble. Again I feel really bad. And History.... was fine. Math was good. We got our quizzes back. I got an 100% and then 5 points extra credit, I think that was the only real good part of my day. But then he assigns the homework, it is impossible. I don't even know where to begin with these problems. *sighs* Lunch... yeah, I was in such a hurry this morning that I forgot a lunch. My mom gave me an apple and a water and that was it. And the apple was all bruised too. Ew. So I just mooched grapes off of Jocelyn. Umm... Gym sucked. We played softball. I have my period, it was cold out... I didn't even try to play the game. I just stood there out in the field. English was booooooooooooooring. I almost fell asleep. So then at the end of English they call my name over the loud speaker and say that I have to go down to the office. I do. Turns out that my mom can't come pick me up after school because she has to tutor. Great, so I'm out of a ride and its too late to find another one and it looks like it's going to rain so I shouldn't walk home so I just screw the student council meeting. I tell Caitryn to tell the officers that I'm sorry that I couldn't be there. I hope she told. So then I run all the way back to Ms. Campbell's room, on the other end of the building, to get my surveys and run back by the office outside to the busses. I just make it. The only seat left? Next to Lucas. *dies* That was the worst 10 minutes of my life... I cannot stand that kid. No, I will not go out with you! DON'T ASK ME AGAIN! *screams* Why does he not get that? So anyways, I get home and what's on the kitchen table? Karly's gift. My mom promised me that she would mail it before she left to go to school but she forgot. So now I don't know when Karly will get her gift... its going to be a day or two after her birthday. SORRY BABES! *sighs* And in all that rush to make the bus... I forget my Spanish book which I need to work on the questions for the speaking final. Damnit! Today is not my day.

The cat won't stop meowing, the phone won't stop ringing... God, and PMS doesn't help my mood anymore! *screams*

I just want this day to be over with already!

I took my Math final and Social Studies final today and I just know I did bad on them both, even after studying for hours. :livid:

He said that he was "highly offended" that the faculty section included people like him with three degrees and janitors. GOD I WANTED TO THROW SOMETHING AT HIM. It's sad that an adult has no respect for one of their own peers. They preach respect to us in school all the time, whenever grown adults can't treat others with decency.

Stupid freakin moron!!!! I don't know him but I hate him already. My dad's a damn janitor and he's probably smarter than that bastard. And if he's got so many goddamn degrees, then why the hell is he teaching high school and not college??

That's soooo stupid. :rolleyes: I think you should have just thrown something at him anyway; sounds like he's long overdue for that.

Theres this concert tonight with a buncha people from my school playing and everyone's going except for me....I'm sad. My one friend said I could go with her, but it turns out my other friend's mom was driving them so I don't even know if friend #1 asked friend #2 and I know friend #3...another person who's going....doesn't even know I MIGHT go with them.....argh,....

She also told me that I have to get a job, otherwise she'll take away my computer because according to her "it is my life". I slept 10 minutes last night. I woke up this morning and said "My God, I can't get out of bed" so I slept more and my mother brought me in at 10. I'm thinking of talking to my doctor about sleeping pills. When it starts to affect school, that's where I draw the line.

I so failed the Algebra final....Good God. It was difficult.

Allyssa's pissed at me again. Oh well. Doesn't bother me... she can never talk to me again and I wouldn't care.

I took Benadryl for my cold this morning, I swallowed them with orange juice with my McDonald's meal. At work, I found I was SOOOOOO tired, I couldn't figure out why, until I realized that Benadryl is best taken at night before bed. Gawwwd, in spite of the four day work week, this week has gone on so damn long, I never thought it would end. I am so glad the weekend is here.

Well today just sucked in general. We were supposed to turn in our math books today, and I forgot mine. I also forgot to turn in my slip in history that says I can go on the field trip next Monday. :o Oopsies.

Dawsongirl, I don't know how many times you've done the job hunting thing, but you usually have to get a lot of rejections before someone hires you. It's hard not to take it personally, but I do my best not to.

Oh, yeah, I guess I'd better whine and / or complain......At work, last week they announced there will be layoffs. Yesterday they walked one of the managers in my department out the door. I'm in the computer field and they never let you stay in the building after you know you're being layed off. I hope I'm not one of the ones who get the axe.

Thanks. :) This is my first real attempt at a job hunt. My first job I got with no problem, and my second one my mom gave me.

Cathy, I have to tell you that the time when you got a job with no problem will probably turn out to be the exception. Usually, it takes so many attempts, it makes you want to cry, even in a great job market, and as the salary you are asking for rises over the years, it gets even harder. A good resume is helpful. Also, it seems to help to apply lots of places at the same time. Sometimes you apply one place and the employer seems really positive, so you wait, but he just never gets back to you, or strings you along. I always apply lots of places at once. Looking for a job is itself a full-time job. Good luck, and keep us posted, won't you?

i knew my good feelings wouldn't last. i am super pissed with myself because i didn't even try to stop something that happened on friday at school. why didn't i do anything dammit i know i could have:mad: on top of that all my friends seem different to me lately i don't know what is going on. people change i guess. no one is home as usual. i can't go anywhere because i can't drive and it is raining so i can't drive my bike anywhere ether. my brother probably the only person in my family i like is at work, my sister is at her boyfriend's, my mother is at her friends house probably wasted or high, my dad...well i don't know he is going crazy or something ever sence the divorce. he isn't likely sober ether.:mad:

I feel really awful - today we had a memorial for my Grandmother,who recently passed away and that was very emotional.Then,just yesterday,my other Grandmother fell and broke her hip and that's how my other Grandmother,who passed away,went downhill,quickly.I hope my surviving Grandmother can do better. :(

this is my first post to whine and/or complain so anyways i hat driving with my mom she says i turn to fast. i turn just like she does yet i do it wrong and she tells me to stop speeding and im like hardly on the speed limit or maybe doing like 56 in a 55.

oh yeah and i just cut my arm on our stupid air conditioner thing.

Today was a very bad day, First when i woke up i stubbed my toe on the side of the damn bed AGAIN! Then when i went to eat breakfest my sister ate the last of the Captain Crunch cerial, MY favorite cerial and i got stuck eating that nasty Life cerial. Then i went to take a shower and sliped and fell out of the tub. And just a few minutes ago the stupid dog bit me to let me know it was feeding time!

Will this pain ever end?

I'm a computer programmer for a large brokerage chain. They told us a couple of weeks ago that we were going to have layoffs, and so for two weeks they've been walking people out the door. The way they fire a programmers is typically that your boss and a security guard appear at your cubicle with a cardboard box and say, "Don't touch your keyboard." Then you have a half hour or so to put your possessions in the box while the guard watches you to make sure that you don't get on the computer. When you're done, he walks you out the front door. We've all been wondering if it would be us. This morning, they layed off my best friend at work, and then a few hours later they told us that the layoffs are over. I'm happy that it wasn't me, and that it's over now, but sad about my best friend and the other friends who got axed. Also, I will have to figure out how the computer programs that some of these people were in charge of work, and that's going to mean a lot more work for me. *whine whine complain complain *

Actually, Cathy, I've been through this a number of times at various companies, and computer programmers are pretty much always fired or layed off like that. I've seen this exact same thing when I worked at McDonnell Douglas and Florida Power.

I babysat from 2pm-12am and haven't even gotten paid yet! the girl was SO annoying. i was trying to watch IDOJ and she kept bothering me.:rolleyes: she's a big tomboy, and kept dragging me outside to watch her drive her mini-bike.

I'm mad at our stupid computer, it has been giving me troubles all night, and when I tried to talk to people on IM it would quit on me, and then it eventualy flat lined, the screan went wacko on me and then that long sound, I do believe its time to get a new computer and soon.

I'm on Windows XP Professional, and MSN Messenger 5.0 needs to die because it doesn't allow customized background skins!! :smash: So after looking thru oldversion.com and many agonizing sessions with a picture I wanted as my background ("YOU BITCH PICTURE!!!! WORK!!!!!!!!!"), I finally asked someone to change the picture to a .gif for me and it worked! (I'd been saving them as .gifs but for some reason they wouldn't work for me)

Other than that, I don't have anything else to whine about other than the fact I'm not turning 18 for another two months! :(

AGH I'm so pissed! I decided to wear Tommy board shorts today, but they weren't REALLY short shorts... they were regular. It was Class Day and we were going to a resort. That's the only reason I wore shorts. I hate shorts. So I get out of the car at school his morning and this Mr. Garcia guy is like "you need to go to the office" and I'm like "um...okay" so I went in and he yelled at me because I went to ask Mr. O'Byrne something really quick (he wasn't in his room though) and he lead me to the office... he's like "do you have anything to change into?" and I'm like "I'm going on a field trip" and so in the office, the principal, she was standing there read something... so he's like "Is she okay with these shorts? She's going on a field trip" and she did her look up and down at me and she's like in an edgy tone "Well seeing as in an hour they're all going to be wearing less than that, I'd say so"... I was like "AHHHHH go Miss D!" but I rolled my eyes and I was like "...OK" in a snotty tone to the guy.

What pisses me off is that people had shorter stuff on than me and they didn't get caught. Damnit.

So I get out of the car at school his morning and this Mr. Garcia guy is like "you need to go to the office" and I'm like "um...okay" so I went in and he yelled at me because I went to ask Mr. O'Byrne something really quick (he wasn't in his room though) and he lead me to the office... he's like "do you have anything to change into?" and I'm like "I'm going on a field trip" and so in the office, the principal, she was standing there read something... so he's like "Is she okay with these shorts? She's going on a field trip" and she did her look up and down at me and she's like in an edgy tone "Well seeing as in an hour they're all going to be wearing less than that, I'd say so"... I was like "AHHHHH go Miss D!" but I rolled my eyes and I was like "...OK" in a snotty tone to the guy.

What pisses me off is that people had shorter stuff on than me and they didn't get caught. Damnit.

Gah, I hate that. Last year I think I even saw a teacher measuring the length of some girls shorts with a measuring tape. :rolleyes:

Our Spanish teacher Mrs. Smith is like that. She makes you bend over and touch your toes in front of the whole class to make sure your shorts are long enough and if there not, she has this old button up jacket that she makes you put on. Ugh!:o

My school does that sometimes...but half the time our principal lets girls with nice bodies get away with short shorts or shirts (he also lets his wife do that.) Dirty pervert.

my only complaint for today is that my school day ended. It was AWESOME today.

I deleted my whole frikkin buddy list and I can't load it right now cause I'm not at home and don't have it saved here, and when I do get home the one I saved itsnt even that updated and ugh. I had to log off cause I was discusted looking at the few names I remembered. :mad: :(

About 3 pages back, I mentioned that it ALWAYS rains here. If it's not raining, it's positively hot! Today it did NOT rain...the first time in about two weeks it's been absolutely gorgeous! However, it was also scalding hot - well over 80 degrees outside and VERY sunny. I got absolutely cooked outside today! :mad: I was outside for only 1 1/2 hours...The sun usually isn't that strong in mid-June where I live, because it rains so much... I guess I was wrong. Now my arms are POSITIVELY red. :( :crying:

this vacation sucks, its bad enough i had to sit 1/2 hour next to some sex freak on the plane
now im stuck here WITH NOTHING TO do, im bored out of my mind...agh were doing nothing, why did i even come here, it would have been better at home, this sucks.

I have some of that,too.But I've had to get used to pills,because I take so many of them,every day.

It's 85ºF outside right now and VEEEEEEEEEEEERY HUMID!!!!!!! I live in a town of 7000 so I can get from my house on the SE end of town to my old school on the NW end of town in about 15 mins...The only available (free) air pump I know of (mine is broken) is allllll the way on the NW end of town, just two blocks south of my old school...So I went out biking since I needed to fill up my tires again. I nearly cooked myself again getting to the gas station on the other end of town and back home again! :mad: GOD, it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot. :eek: It's so hot, in fact, all I have on right now is an old swimming suit halter top and my shorts. Nothing else. No socks, nothing. I'm hot. :o
