On Friday the 13th, our laptop like broke, everything was lost, and we had to reinstall everything...ugh ugh ugh ugh I'm so mad...now the laptop is slow and ugly. And the worst part is that I can't get my screen resolution back to the way it was before! The way a font looks on the screen is like really important to be (I have no idea why) and to be frank right now it is bugging the crap out of me. I can't get it back to the way it was!!! :crying:

Oh boy....I havent posted on this yet, which surprises me, cuz im a whiner.

Today was simulator in drivers ed. It sucks. I hate it, and I suck at it, which could explain why I am not doing so hot in that. Like, I'm going to fail drivers ed because I cant freakin not hit little kids who jump out of nowhere. I was going 50 in a residential area and that kid should have known to look both ways. Damn kids.

Then tonight, instead of going to the College World Series like I wanted to, I have to have dumb piano lessons. Do I want them? No. Do I have a say in what I want? No again. *Huge sigh*

Ok, Im done. Im sorry everyone else had sucky days...I'm hoping things will get better for everyone. ha.

Try going under View, then go to text size. It might not be where it was before. Normally it's on medium.

Click on View and a menu will pop down. It should say Text Size. Scroll down to it and see where it's set. :)

I want to rant and rave about something, but it's not about life in general.

It's about what's on television these days.

If anyone can understand my feelings, you are welcome to share you thoughts about this topic, too!!!

Why is there nothing (and I absolutely mean N-O-T-H-I-N-G) on television these days. I am so upset that networks would rather show a bunch of crap than classic TV family shows (I'm talking about shows in the 80's like Alf, 227, Silver Spoons, Small Wonder, etc.)

All they show is boring stuff like Joe Millionaire and The Bachelor/Bachelorette, etc. I'm fed up! :mad:

What the cable and local networks should be showing these days are shows that can allow a family to sit down and laugh together after a tiring and busy day, not show crap like lying to a bunch of people on national television just to find a "mate." :angryfire

For example, the weekends should show family shows instead of these boring cartoons these days. Local networks could do the same thing on weekend evenings instead of airing no-good "stuff".

Man, I miss those days (back in the 80's) where family was more important than irrelevant things like designer clothes, junk jewelry, and the like. :livid:

If I had a say in what the networks currently air, I would pull the plug on these stupid shows and lock them in a secure vault until the end of time!

Maybe, I'm fighting a losing battle because the more I (and others) complain about today's garbage, the more the networks want to air them, and the more we get angrier and angrier.

What's on today is nothing but lust, violence, chaos, and just plain junk. It seems like networks don't care about family values, morals, and a sense of responsibility. All they care about is trying to make a "dollar."

If they had any sense of decency, they would feel the same way I do and take this mess they show off of the air and show wholesome shows again.

I have to scan over 100 Sports Illustrated mags for my dad so we can sell them on ebay. It's a long and very annoying process.

Man...After all that I did today, I need to let some steam off!

As some of you guys may remember, I just graduated from high school last month. Which means you get a TON of graduation cards from a lot of people. That also means MONEY MONEY MONEY!!! And lots of it! But at the same time, it's a pain in the ass because then you have to write all those thank-you cards to people that sent you graduation cards. I just now got done with writing all my thank-you cards and MAN. I will NEVER do that again (not for a while, anyway). I got almost 40 thank-you cards ready, addressed and mailed out. I'd done the thank-you cards over the last week and finished the last batch today. But then, like I said before, I had to get the addresses put on the envelopes and get them mailed out. VERY luckily, I was sent a sheet of about 50 mail address labels with my name on it a couple of months ago, so that REALLY cut down on my having to write my address on every single envelope.

After I got everything addressed and stamped, I biked out to the PO to mail them...Man. Now my right wrist (I'm a righty) hurts soooooooo friggin' much. I have an old rollerblading injury in my hand/wrist from two summers ago when I fell ON my hand rollerblading and sprained it really badly. After doing all of that today, my wrist hurts sooooooo bad. It's one of those times when I wish I had a wrist brace for it. :( I don't, so I have to settle for an Ace bandage instead, and I lost one of the hooks for it. :( :( :(

Hmm.. lets start with lastnite. There were so many friggan flies, mosquitos, and moths out here I thought I was living in a jungle. I WANT MY LEMONADE COOLATA DAMNIT!:mad: So Im driving blah blah blah and then get to the intersection. The light went on for the LEFT turns- meaning I turned left and so did the other lane across the intersection.. NO ONE ELSE CAN GO! Red light! So Im turning, and out of nowhere some guy in a red truck comes zooming through the intersection on my left so I have to jam on my breaks. The wife kinda waved and mouthed sorry. F*ck her- you think her apology gives a sh*t to me?! NO!!!!!!!! WTF I hate drivers. I felt like beating the sh*t out of him. NO ONE CUTS ME OFF AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!!!:livid::livid:

im going to quit my stupid job. i went in today at 5:00 and i was there 30 minutes and they told me i could leave cause it was karaoke night and they didnt need me. why the hell did they put me down to work if they didnt need me. and next week only day they have me down for is saturday. im calling them tomorrow and giving them my two weeks notice. im gonna try and get a job as a sewing maching operator. id get a hell of a lot more hours.

I know you're upset and I don't want to make you feel worse but he actually did say they had to add up to 50K in total.

I have to say that Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run for the Super-NES is the most ridiculously difficult game I have ever played. Every time I hit the ball it almost always is hit at somebody. The other team beat the crap out of my team while I rarely scrounge up a few baserunners of my own. I should have remembered how difficult it was for me back when I was in elementary and middle school. Oh well. There are other good games to play.

Yesterday at work while I was ringing up some woman's groceries she got all peed off at me and said I wasn't doing my job. Then last night there was a horrible lightening storm and it knocked the power out and I about got blown away in the wind. lol. Gawd I'm glad yesterday is over.

Like for instance, if I wanted to direct link your avatar I would use the address to the avatar on my website or journal so the photo would show up. What a fun weekend! My cat, Mojo, got sick (again) so he had to stay at the vets this time. I can't help worrying about him though. Our satellite dish is messed up! It started on Friday just not getting a signal and I thought it was because it was so hazy. Then, some of the channels came in yesterday, now it's not picking up anything!!! I don't get off work on Sundays very often and I didn't even get to watch any TV because the dish is broken! Everyone is acting weird at work ever since Adam got fired and now it just sucks working there. He kept all of us happy and now everyone just gripes & complains. I hate changes.

I have nothing in common with any of my friends. All of them seem to be on a different path then me and pretty soon i think im going to leave them behind. I don't want to but i am not like them. I won't drink with them, and i don't case trouble like them. For some reason though i still hang out with them even though I don't really talk to any of them, not liek any of them actualy cares what happens to me. That is a lesson i have had to learn to many times I put to much faith in my friends, the only person i can ever really trust not to back down is myself isn't it. Pride is all that keeps me alive now and moving forward, a stubborn pride born from need. I have to keep myself going i have to show them i am not afraid and im not weak.

I have had it up to here with my :censored: car! First the radio keeps fading out for no plausible reason. As soon as that gets fixed, the damn instrument panel intermittently stops working. Some days it'll come on, some days it'll start up -- or stop -- a few minutes into a drive, and some days the gauges do not work at all. I've had this checked at least three times, and every supposed fixing has done no good. But the real topper came this weekend: I'm driving up to Barnes & Noble in typical "August in Texas" 95-degree-plus weather and the AC is suddenly not feeling effective. So I turn the knob up to the highest level and all of a sudden, there's this smell like plastic. At first I figured it was the paint factory nearby. But then at the next red light, I saw this thick white smoke coming out from under my hood. AAAAAAHHHHH!!!! I pulled to the side and ran like a bat outta hell for the nearest pay phone. Turns out one of the belts on my air compressor broke and started burning up. The whole car didn't burn up, but the AC system was pretty well shot. So I had to shell out near $600 for a new belt, a new compressor, etc. and I figure, OK, that takes care of that. Well, this afternoon, I'm getting off from work and starting to drive home, and it's starting to boil outside, so I turn up the AC ... and damned if it doesn't start blowing hot air. :wallbang
