View Full Version : "Wedding of a Lifetime"
Lisa_Marie_Presley_Fan 05-16-2003, 06:12 PM Hey, guys! Are you ready for this? Let's go!
*The opening scene- Mary-Ann and Gingers hut. It is dark. Ginger is thinking about something. Mary-Ann enters and sees her*
MARY-ANN: Ginger, are you coming to bed?
GINGER: In a second. I'm just thinking about the most WONDERFUL person on Earth.
MARY-ANN: Who's that?
GINGER: *thinking it was advious*: Me!
MARY-ANN *thinking 'yeah right* Oh, dumb me. *Mary-Ann climbs on the top of the bed, while Ginger slips into the bottom of it. A few Minutes later, we see smoke. It is Mary-Anns dream*
MARY-ANN'S DREAM:
*Mary-Ann enters, wearing her normal everyday day clothes. She isn't on the island anymore. She looks around her*
MARY-ANN: Where am I? *The Skipper walks by. He is dressed as a priest* Excuse me! Excuse, sir! *The Skipper stops and walks to Mary-Ann*
SKIPPER: May I help you?
MARY-ANN: Skipper?
SKIPPER: No. My name is Skippy.
MARY-ANN: Well... Skippy, where are we?
SKIPPER: Your wedding.
MARY-ANN *very shocked*: My... wedding??
SKIPPER: That's right.
MARY-ANN: Who is the groom? *Gillian enters, wearing a tux.*
GILLIAN: Here I am, my love!
MARY-ANN: Oh, boy!
Tell me what you think so far! Is it good or bad? You can tell me the truth. It won't hurt my felling if you don't like it! :).
JWood201 05-17-2003, 08:22 PM Cute. Keep going...
*InThisMoment* 05-17-2003, 09:21 PM keep Going! it sounds real interesting! :)
Lisa_Marie_Presley_Fan 05-18-2003, 03:29 PM Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I was writng the next part. It's kinda short and a cliff hanger. But... enjoy!
GILLIAN: What did you say, Darling?
MARY-ANN: Nothing. I'd better get going. *She starts to exit, but Ginger enters and blocks her path. She is wearing a pink flower girl dress* This nightmare just keeps getting worse, and worse! *Then we hear crying. Mary-Ann turns to look. It is Mr. and Mrs. Howell. Then the wedding march starts to play. Mary-Ann's clothes turn to a white, long wedding dress. She walks down the walk way to Gilligan. She comes to a halt*
SKIPPER (SKIPPY): Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to join the forces of this man and this woman. Do you, Gillian, take this woman, Mary-Anne summers to be your wife?
GILLIAN: I do.
SKIPPER (SKIPPY): Do you, Mary-Ann, take this man, Gillian to be your husband?
MARY-ANN: I....I......I.
*Mary-Ann tried to to think of an answer, but couldn't. She loved Gillian as a friend, but just as a friend. But something inside her told her that she loved Gillian even than that!*
Please tell me what you think so far. :)
iDOhavealife 05-19-2003, 12:38 PM Getting interesting! Just one small criticism (and I mean no offense, so please don't take any)--you keep writing "Gillian" instead of "GilliGan". Again, I mean no offense. Thanks! :D
*InThisMoment* 05-20-2003, 05:49 PM Sounds Great! Keep Going! :)
iDOhavealife 05-26-2003, 05:55 PM Ummm...if my criticism about the spelling of Gilligan's name made you stop posting, I'm sincerely sorry. :(

No. Don't worry about it! We're all friends here. I'll post the next part soon! I'm having writers block. Maybe tomorrow.
-Brandon.
iDOhavealife 05-26-2003, 08:43 PM OK, good :) ! Believe me, I know all about writer's block.
JWood201 05-26-2003, 09:11 PM Speaking of your writer's block ... Still got it? **pleading look**

No. I guess I can post it now.
MARY-ANN: I-I-I.
MRS. HOWELL *WISPERING* Does Mary-Ann have a speech problem we don't know about?
MR. HOWELL: I know. She sounds like Ricky Ricardo. (from 'I Love Lucy.')
MARY-ANN: Gilligan, I- *Looking at Gilligans face, staring to sweat* do. I do.
SKIPPY: Then I pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride. *Gilligan leans in to kiss Mary-Ann, but a loud roll of thunder interups him*
SKIPPY: Everybody! To a cave. Follow me. *Gilligan, Mr. and Mrs. Howell and Skippy exit. Mary-Ann looks up at the sky*
MARY-ANN *LOOKS LIKE SHE'S PRAYING* Thank you.
*Back at Mary-Ann and Gingers hut. Mary-Ann rises in her bed. She looks down at Ginger, who is still sleeping. Mary-Ann gets out of bed and exits*
*Outside the hut. Mary-Ann is walking around. Gilligan enters, but Mary-Ann doesn't see him. He walks over to her, and taps her on the sholder*
MARY-ANN: AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Canibal!!
GILLIGAN: Shhh. Mary-Ann it's just me.
MARY-ANN: Gilligan! You scared the holy sugar out of me!
GILLIGAN: Sorry. Most people say I'm scary. What are you doing up.
MARY-ANN: Night mare. You?
GILLIGAN: Me to. I dreamt you and me got married!
MARY-ANN *SHOCKED* Me to.
GILLIGAN: And-then-the- *They look into each other's eyes. Gilligna leans in and kisses Mary-Ann gently on the lips. He breaks the kiss apart, looks at her* I'm sorry. *He runs away. Mary-Ann looks after him, thinking. Thinking she and Gilligan were MORE then just friends.
THE END
If you were wondering why a guy would write a wedding story. Well, it's because my cousin, who's in her 20's wants to get married, so this story is dedicated to her. Love ya, Cuz! :)
Hope you guys liked it!
-Brandon.
iDOhavealife 05-26-2003, 10:18 PM Hi, Courtney. Not sure if you were talking to me (you talkin' to me, huh?!) or BlairFan, but I'm answering anyway, LOL.
I think I have a lot more of the "jerk from high school" fic written in my head. Just need to get it down on the computer. This is the final week of school for my kids, and we're going crazy with end-of-year things. They'll be out Thursday, so maybe I can write on Friday morning when they're sleeping in. I have some of the bugs worked out, so hopefully the writing will go easily.
If you were talking to BlairFan and not to me, just disregard my ramblings  !
JWood201 05-26-2003, 10:20 PM That was directed to everyone! So ... YAY! I'm so excited! "Jerk from high school" fic - hehehe!
iDOhavealife 05-26-2003, 10:21 PM Interesting ending. "Sorry. Most people say I'm scary."-- Funny!

Wsa that a 'yes I liked it!' or 'no. Gilligan would NVER kiss Mary-Ann.' ? lol! Are you a teacher?
iDOhavealife 05-27-2003, 10:28 AM Nope, I'm not a teacher (well, I homeschooled my son for two years, until we moved to a better school district).
Yeah, I liked it. I just thought that line was funny. And yeah, I think Gilligan would, under the right circumstances, kiss Mary Ann. He was scared of girls, yes, but I'm not convinced it was because he didn't "like" them, LOL.

LOL @ iDOhavealife! No. I don't Gilligan is gay. lol! :rotflmao:
Is it so good, do you think I should write another one? Maybe even my own show. Which one:
another fan-fic.
new show
you stink at writng.
I welcome any in-put. Good or bad.
iDOhavealife 05-27-2003, 01:50 PM Sure, write another fan-fic about any show you want, Gilligan or otherwise. If you're like me, I sometimes feel the need to write (then other times, I can't think of a thing to write and don't even want to try, LOL). Go for it!
*InThisMoment* 05-27-2003, 01:54 PM That Was Good!
