TVFactFan 04-23-2003, 04:29 PM Originally posted by cutie I also agree, I hated Vannessa, she had that very annyoing laugh, I had to turn the channel everytime she was on camera. Also she had that crazy looking Afro in the later seasons-Vaneesa defintely put the G in GOOFY *InThisMoment* 04-23-2003, 05:13 PM Common' People Vanessa Rocks! TALLguyinKY 04-24-2003, 12:59 AM Vanessa's the best :D , Sondra's the worst. *InThisMoment* 04-24-2003, 02:28 AM I Don't Know Why But In The Episode When Sondra Get's Sick And She Don't Want The Twins To Catch Her Cold When She Finds Out Clair Took Them And Smarts Off To Clair I just Wanna Slap Her Face! Jennifer12 04-25-2003, 01:54 PM Vanessa really didn't add anything to the show. When Raven entered the scene, Rudy was put on a back burner. These two characters would never have been missed. I think Denise added a lot-she was very a funny character-Rudy and Vanessa added nothing. call-alluejah 04-26-2003, 12:18 AM I can't believe what i'm hearing. We're talking about a family here. Every member of that family was important in their own way, especially the immediate family. Sure vanessa was a little clowny and did dufus things thouigh she was very smart on the show, that was the point. To get people riled up at the stupid things she did and then show how the parents sraightened her out in their own "huxtable way"( think of when vanessa got drunk with the drinking game). denise provided the child that was misguided and slacker-like, which alot of people are like(maybe not that much). She was important because it showed how a child like that could survive in a house with parents, grandparents and others who were strong influences of success.Rudy was the baby of the family, the representation of adolescence and growing up problems in a child's life, very important. Theo, well we all know his part was very important being the only other male in the house. And sondra was important because she represented the actual success and produce socially of cliff and clair. And to end my little essay, i believe all of them were very important, c'mon people, it's a family we're talkin about, though be it a television show. think about saying that your little brother's influence in the family could go without being missed.IT's a family. Vanessa was the family clown *InThisMoment* 04-26-2003, 01:03 AM Vanessa is great.and anyone who disagrees gets a fat lip! :peace: see i'm just jokin' ThomasE 04-29-2003, 03:02 PM To me, all these characters were good and were funny. I saw nothing wrong with Vanessa although she was kind of annoying with all that intellect about her and Dabnis the final season, but let's not beat these characters up, though. :( TVFactFan 04-29-2003, 05:47 PM Originally posted by ThomasE To me, all these characters were good and were funny. Family Clown. Cashodeen 05-02-2003, 03:27 AM Put the G in GOOFY. Now that's funny. Personally, I could pick apart all the girls on the show. I liked Denise in the first season. Come to think of it, Vanessa wasn't too annoying the first season either. As she grew older, I wanted to toss her over the side of a ship. You may say that's cruel. It was cruel for the girl to subject the nation to that hair of hers. But, I'm not here to talk about hair. I'm here to talk about annoying Cosby chics. Sondra--she's my vote. I never thought she was particularly cool. And marrying Elvin? Let's face it. Even she could have done better. That one guy (who later became Martin) showed interest in her in an early episode. Future radiologist. She could have done Cliff and Clair proud. Why marry a genuine fool who's going nowhere? Yeah, like he could really cut it as a professional. Not like careers are everything, but Elvin had nothing else great about him. Sondra was a drip. And that poor thing must have been running an awful fever to think her mother was stealing her kids. Janice Johnson 05-30-2003, 02:41 PM She is the mature, smart, one of the family. She is the one who got a 1400 on the SATs. When has she ever been a clown? Just compare her to Denise and Rudy and that should give you the answer u r looking for. Janice Johnson 05-30-2003, 04:37 PM Just compare her to Denise and Rudy and that should give you the answer u r looking for. What are you talking about? TVFactFan 05-30-2003, 04:52 PM Originally posted by Janice Johnson Just compare her to Denise and Rudy and that should give you the answer u r looking for. What are you talking about? Saying that Denise, and Rudy wasn't clusmy and Goofy like Vanessa. And let's not forget the SLANTED afro Vanessa had in 89 or 90. She just carried herself ike a clown. Cashodeen 05-31-2003, 12:19 AM Originally posted by Janice Johnson She is the mature, smart, one of the family. She is the one who got a 1400 on the SATs. When has she ever been a clown? Well, I do have to disagree. I know someone who got about a 1400 on the SATs, and he was in the top ten of my class. The guy was, without a doubt, a CLOWN! You said she was smart and gave an example (personally, the SATs suck anyways), but what example do you have for her being mature? She ATTEMPTED to speak maturely from time to time, but I think she carried herself as a clown. Her hair was ridiculous enough to prove that. LOL. And she was always acting like a spaz. Remember her boyfriend (Jeremy)? She was whining and yelling from upstairs while her parents were grilling Jeremy in the living room. She just acted clownish to me. Belair 04-21-2005, 05:41 AM Vanessa annoyed me quite abit, she would WHINE,and it was really annoying. But my least favourite girl was Sondra. She just wasn't a character enough for me. leroykevin 04-22-2005, 01:15 AM Has everbody forgoten what it was like to be a teenager? :D I did a lot dumb & crazy things when I was Theo and Vannessa's age. Some good, some bad. Nowadays I joke about how I spent so much time in detention, that I got credit for it. :D C'mon KIDS WILL BE KIDS  snl75 04-22-2005, 01:18 AM i agree vanessa really gets on my nerves more than the other kids |
