It's beginning to effect me!!!!
One little aspect of my personality I forgot to let everybody in on is that I have dreams that could rival ANYTHING that writing staff ever came up with for GI. As a matter of fact, the answer to the question What's my favorite episode? would be "Any episode at all with a dream sequence." I love dreams and I love dreaming provided the action doesn't get too weird and I am in control the whole time. I have dremt myself in front of a TV set and watching entire new episodes (written, directed, produced and sometimes even starring me!) to certain shows I am hooked on at the time.
Well we all know which show I am hooked on now and which Fan Fic and Message Boards for that matter so it should come as no surprise that various characters are now popping up in my slumbering adventures.
I dremt last night that I woke up (yes, my dreams DO get that incongruous!). I realized that it was Sunday and I didn't have to be anywhere anytime soon so I decided to just hang out in bed for a little while and relax. I opened my eyes again and who (or is it whom?) should I see standing in my bedroom but the Skipper! Yes! There he was, Jonas Grumby, himself, captain's hat and all standing just inside my bedroom door and informing me that breakfast was ready and was I going to get up and come downstairs now?
I said no that I thought I'd stay in bed for awhile and I'd be down a little later.
So then he said to me that if I wasn't going to get up right now, could he get in bed with me?
I emphatically said NO and told him to go away which he did but he was very disappointed.
That's where the dream ended and without my sitting up in bed screaming, if you can believe it!
So I've thusly come to the conclusion that we've got to stop talking about Gilligan and Mary Ann as the perfect couple because I think there's a part of my subconscious that's hearing this and figuring that if Gilligan and Mary Ann are the perfect couple, the perfect compliment to that would the the Skipper and Mary Ellen!:eek2:
Please, PLEASE don't do that to me! Don't make me do it! I can't! I just can't!
