What do you call the last meal of the day? I Was raised to say Supper, But it seems Dinner is the more used of the two.

I Say Cellar too. But i say Living room. I Have never even heard of it being called a Parlor :lol:

Dinner... Definitely dinner! I'm from California I really hadn't heard anyone say supper until I started chatting online. haha

One of my friends are from Nebraska and say

Supper= Dinner
Worsher= Washer
Worsh Clothes= Wash Clothes
Quickie= corndog
Pop= Coke...any beverage like that.

I call it supper.

My mom calls it Supper but I always say dinner because that's what most people around here say, My mom also instead of saying couch or sofa she calls it a davenport. She's the only one I know who refers to a couch as a davenport.

I'll usually say supper, but once in a while I'll say 'dinner'. I don't know... I guess it's whatever comes out at the moment :lol:

Sups or Din Din. Din Din was to help my brother (younger & older!) tell it apart from causing a din (because we never said racket).

And sups just developed from my elder brother's two year fascination with rap music.

Yea, we'd always say dinner in Illinois too. We still call it dinner here, and I think most people do too.

I still spell it Labour, and I still say lorries.

I know in the UK, they say something else for the trunk of the car, but we'd always call it a dickey. No sexual connotation implied.

Dinner and living room...and for the other one I call it simply down stairs lol.

I usually say dinner. I only say supper when I'm being sarcastic.

well heres it Dinner but usually in My family we either say dinner in Dutch or we'll say "come eat" in Dutch

That's weird. I hear a lot of people from the East Coast give a couch or sofa another name altogether. They call it a chesterfield. :crazy:
