I also have an episode of Down to Earth from 1986. I have alot of wierd stuff on tape from when I was a kid. *PinkLady* 03-11-2003, 04:43 PM I have episodes of ALF that my mom taped for me when I was little. They're from 1989, I think. dawsongirl 03-11-2003, 06:33 PM Full House from the early 90s. Sean Snow 03-11-2003, 07:12 PM Werm well the oldest thing I ever taped was 90210 for my mom in the mid 90s, lol. The first thing that I liked that I taped was I Love Lucy, even though it's not one of my favorite shows. I think I taped it on accident, because I didn't know about it until I was looking through some old things a few weeks ago lol. Other then that the first thing I started taping was Gilligan's Island off Nick-at-Nite. Adamantium 03-11-2003, 08:02 PM I taped "Batman" off of the Family Channel back in 1989. That was the first show I ever taped. However, the tapes didn't last. The show that I taped after that was "X-Men" in 1992. I only taped the first season, and I still have that tape. I also have "Taxi" episodes from 1996. Lynn 03-11-2003, 09:30 PM When I was little, my sister and I had an episode of Punky Brewster on tape that we watched all the time. We watched it so much we had the whole episode memorized. Anyway, I think my parents still have that tape somewhere with all our kids movies, (Mary Poppins, The Ugly Dashund, and Pete's Dragon) that we taped off the Disney Channel. Nanny Fine 03-11-2003, 10:34 PM Life Goes On. I have a tape that has several original ABC Aired episodes. I used to have more...but alas I now don't. :( LucyFan 03-12-2003, 12:30 AM The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour has been in my collection the longest. I began to tape it in March of 1997. Soon after TLDCH, was I Love Lucy. My first taping of ILL occured on Saturday, July 19th, 1997 and the episode that I taped was #163- "Little Ricky's School Pagent". I continued to tape ILL throughout the rest of the late 90's into the early 00's. Now, I have every episode of each series. peter may 03-12-2003, 07:04 AM when i was a kid i used to love The Muppet Show, I still have a tape from the original 1970's airing Unwanted Angel 03-12-2003, 01:22 PM Mine was back in 1992 i taped The Donna Reed show and i still have it... Chocoholic 03-12-2003, 03:37 PM I don't have any on tapes. I always say I'll record my favorite episodes, but being a poor college student, I can't afford new blank tapes. I also have the "Archie Gives Blood" episode of All In The Family that I taped when I was little off of TBS in 1991. Come to think of it, my grandparents have episodes of Archie Bunker's Place that were taped off of CBS in 1981 and 1982. I can't watch them because the tapes are really old.
