Well, um, you can't get rid of one, once you have a record, you're stuck with it. And you probably won't make many friends, because where ever you move, you will probably have to register as a convicted felon... which would suck. There are a lot of companies that wont hire you if you have a criminal record, especially if you have been arrested for robbery or breaking into some place. Sometimes it may be harder to find a place to live. Especially if you are moving into an apartment building. Some landlords may feel that a person with a criminal record might "contaminate" their community...there are other things i'm sure...i just cant think of them right now...
