Ok, you remember the episode where Fred wants to sue the network for using his life & making a tv show of it. (wild to see John Laroquette!) Did anyone else notice during the stage scenes when the father & son spoke, the father's voice sounded dubbed? I *know* it was at one point. He slams his newspaper onto the couch while he was yelling & you don't hear it crinkle. I'm just curious why they dubbed some dialogue. A few lines of Grady's counterpart were dubbed too.
Anyway, this episode was 1975 & you could tell the writing staff was slowly running outta steam. Kind of a silly plot on this one. The one scene that made me laugh was when Rollo's cousin tells Fred that a Black version of the show wouldn't make it & Fred looks at the camera!
(as I keep saying, I think the best episodes were from '72 to about '74.)
