Has any one ever heard of the "New Andy Griffith Show"? I was searching for one of Andys movies called "Angel on my shoulder" and the movie data base came up and showed that Andy Griffith had a short lived sitcom in 1971called "The New Andy Griffith Show". He played a man named Andy Sawyer who worked in the state capital, retires and then goes back to his home town. Lee Meriwether played Lee Sawyer.
