View Full Version : Fortune Cookies
From my fortune cookie included in my Chinese food:
"Don't expect romantic attachments to be strictly logical or rational."
A-freakin-men!!!
Finally, some advice I can use!
;)
~LadyJess~ 02-09-2003, 10:52 PM I love fortune cookies even though I refer to them as motivational cookies. Here's my favorite one that I saved and have up on my bulletin board:
"Time is precious but truth is more precious than time."
Titania 02-09-2003, 10:53 PM best fortune cookie i ever got?

laceyinthesky 02-09-2003, 10:54 PM I know they're yummy! :liplick:
RollerGirl 02-09-2003, 11:02 PM I once had one that said "You are in the right place at the right time" ...and considering I was really craving some chinese food, I'd reckon so :)
Christopher 02-09-2003, 11:02 PM I hate the taste of fortune cookies they suck. I just break them open to read the fortune which never really happens.

Oh yeah, I'm the same way. Fortune cookies just taste awful. I open them for the fortune. I can't remember my favorite fortune. I always lost the fortune in the end. :(
~*Hannah_Lee*~ 02-09-2003, 11:13 PM I love fortune cookies!! They taste like an ice cream cone to me. Well, ya know, minus the ice cream.

eep! i'm not sure about that one lol but i've gotten two slipped in by accident before
Janice 02-10-2003, 02:33 AM I saw a joke once. It takes place in a Chinese restaurant. It showed a photo of an empty but dirty plate where Chinese food had been eaten.
Next to the plate, all you see is the person's hand holding the fortune which reads, "That wasn't chicken."
I might be outdooin' the truth, but I don't recall anytime when my love interests were predictable or logical. Was that the question. Cause I forgot since I first opened this thread.

LOL. Keep up Kitt. It's about fortune cookies. Come to think of it, there was no actual question asked, and I did enjoy that personal tidbit about your life. ;)

TJL listen.........
I was at a chinese restaurant in Manhattan with a group of my co-workers and at the end of the meal I (with my big mouth) said to everyone..." Whatever this fortune cookie says will be the truth for me"!!!
Well...................................................
I opened with bated breath and cracked the fortune cookie and guess what???
It was empty.....................
 :rotflmao: :rotflmao: But of course I always keep my sense of humor... :rotflmao:
Rhiannon 02-10-2003, 05:50 PM I love reading fortune cookies

I have never recieved an empty one. I would be heartbroken if I did.
I have another fortune I have been saving, which really shows how much stock I have in a cookie's ability to predict things about me:
"You have a strong handle on reality..."
Kay Scarpetta 02-10-2003, 05:57 PM Mine never come true :(
Babes_Cat 02-10-2003, 06:09 PM The fortunes in the cookies suck..... and they're always basically the same, who comes up with this stuff? The only good part is the Chinese that you can learn. ;)
MonarC 03-25-2003, 03:36 PM  here's to the guy or girl who invented them
