If you had the money and power to create a brand new network, what would you call it and what shows would you have on it?

1) As someone else mentioned, I too would have NO logo onscreen and would show the episodes uncut. Hey, if we are dreaming here, then I'm 10x richer than Turner and therefore I don't need all the commercials to make my station go. That gives me time to run uncut episodes.

2) It's very interesting to read all the different ideas here. I'm sure what I'm about to write is the same for everybody, but I'll write it anyway. There are some dream lineups listed here that I would watch alot of. There are others that I might turn on occasionally. And there have been two that I would NEVER turn on. I mean NEVER. But to each his/her own.

What were the stations you would watch and occasionaly and the ones you wouldnt watch at all?

Anna4,

I wouldn't want to say who's lineups I wouldn't watch. I don't think that's fair or kind, and that's why I left my comments general.

There are some folks here that have absolutely no idea what kindness and civility are. They write things without considering the fact that if they said the things they wrote to the face of someone, they'd promptly be punched out. Believe me, I know of what I speak. Just this past week some folks responded to a very generalized post of mine in which I never ripped any other poster. With no provoking at all, a couple of nuts here decided to post with sarcasm and rudeness when it wasn't warranted.

Sorry to be long-winded, but I wanted to let you know why I feel so strongly about this.

Take care,

There are some folks here that have absolutely no idea what kindness and civility are. They write things without considering the fact that if they said the things they wrote to the face of someone, they'd promptly be punched out.

B&W fan, If you would read some of Anna4's posts in the Scrubs section, you would see that she is pretty darn rude and uncivil. She can't accept the fact that some people in this world actually like watching Scrubs. Most of her posts right now are in the Scrubs section, badmouthing the show and its fans.

I can't believe Anna was able to make two consecutive posts without bad-mouthing Scrubs. That must be a record for her. Keep it up, Anna! Maybe you just might become a decent poster here.

Anna4,

I wouldn't want to say who's lineups I wouldn't watch. I don't think that's fair or kind, and that's why I left my comments general.

What did you think of mine? I Dont mind if you dont like it, I Actually would like to know if people would watch it or not

Chad, I would definitely watch alot of your station! Great variety and plenty of "older" stuff that I really like. Good job on that creation!

Let me just say it this way - take a look at my schedule and you will see alot of 50's thru 70's stuff. If a lineup in this thread doesn't have at least some of these oldies in them, you can count me out completely - and two folks basically did that. One of them didn't have one show, I mean not even one lousy show, on their list that I even halfway like!

B&W "trust me, if you can't put even one show on your schedule that I like, that's bad - because I've watched alot of TV and like alot of different shows!" fan
