View Full Version : Actress/Singer Nell Carter Dead at 54
Frasier W. Crane 01-23-2003, 02:24 PM BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA - Actress and singer Nell Carter has died. She was 54.
Her publicist says Carter collapsed in her Beverly Hills home and was found by her 13-year-old adopted son.
Carter had won an Emmy for her role in the sitcom "Gimme a Break!" and a Tony for her performance in the Broadway musical "Ain't Misbehavin."

Dude don't compare Andy Ricther to Nell Carter dying that is just messed up. Andy might come back Nell won't. Get over your lame show and come back to reality.
I'm very sorry for Nell's family. I feel very sorry for her 13-year-old adopted son. I hope God watches over him and her family.

Just yesterday I was looking at a cast list thing for "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" and was surprised to see her name on the cast list (never watched the show). And the next day I find out she's passed away :(
