Hello, ILL fans. As you probably know, the silk heart-shaped opening/ending credits that we all love today were NOT the original credits for "I Love Lucy". In fact, the original credits showed an animated Desi and Lucy going down an elevator and then to a drive-in movie theatre (if I remember correctly). Does anyone know of a site where I can downlaod these original credits? And, was it different music or was it the familiar "Da-da-dahhh--da-da-dahhh-dahh-da" ("I love Lucy and she loves me...") that we know and love today? Any help would be appreciated.
Another question: a recent post mentioned the "colorized" Christmas episode. Was this broadcast in color back in the '50s, or was it colorized when it was re-broadcast in the '90s. I remember CBS made a big hype out of "discovering" this long-lost episode, then airing it shortly before Christmas in the 1990s, but they broadcast it in B&W (so I don't understand what this colorized thing is all about).
Also: vote here!! Which epsiode do you think is funnier: "Lucy Does a TV Commercial" (Vitameatavegamin), OR....... "Job-Switching" (chocolate candy conveyor belt)???
