What NON-CABLE Channels are your local channel stations? These are mine:

ABC - WOI-TV 5 DES MOINES

CBS - KCCI-News Channel 8

PBS (Channel 11)(Iowa Public Television-IPTV)

FOX - KDSM FOX 17 (Channel 4 on my Cable system)(or U on small b&w TVs)(or 17 or 68 on TVs with antennas)

WB - KPWB Your Station Channel 23! (If on antenna, channel 74)

I don't get PAX or UPN:( Iowa doesn't get UPN altogether unless you have satelite.

Yeah, I agree, LOL. But when I had cable, I had two ABCs, two CBS, two NBCs and two FOX's.

The 9 and 12 I'm not sure of names for right now. On satellite, I only get 4, 5, 7, 11, 12 & 13, and a PBS (WXEL 42) and an idependent religious station, but they actually go by the actual numbers, 5, 12, 25, 29, 34, etc.

Hell no. Of course I live ten miles away from Scranton and they get it. We can't even get it on antenna but everyone else in Greene County can.......even Paton and they are the farthest away from Jefferson or wherever. I would only want PAX for The Weakest Link, NeWayz.:bash: :bash:

Oh. Well it doesn't come in real good here anyway on an antenna.

Here we have 2 CBS's and 2 WB's. One WB affiliate is our local one and the other one is WB2 from Denver. I have no clue why we get both. I mean one of the two could be used for say TVland. ;)

Basically if you don't have have cable here, you're screwed. Non-cable people receive ABC, CBS, ABC and PBS. That's it. If we didn't have basic cable, I'd go insane.

I still think I remember the line-up my cousins had in Chicago. We had basic cable (Which was great cause we got about 80 something channels) but the non-cable subscribers get 10 - 15 channels I think?

For some reason, about 5 years ago, CBS and NBC made a deal to swap stations in Philadelphia. Channel 3 use to belong to NBC, and Channel 10 belonged to CBS. NBC now has Channel 10, and CBS has Channel 3.

Channel 55 is an independant network.Metro airs New York-based shows like "Subway Q&A" and America One is a preachy network also known as Telecare that shows stuff like "Gerbert".
