Because I seem to remember hearing it on the radio sometimes and i'm surprised that this song isn't even on any Janet Jackson greatest hits albums. Because when Janet Jackson's Control was released in 1986 the hit ballad from that album that was overplayed was Let's Wait Awhile but I never knew that Funny How Time Flies When You're Having Fun was also released as a single in 1987. I can say that Janet Jackson ballads of the 80's were cool and someday they should release an album of Janet Jackson's best ballads and rare songs and this song should be included in this Janet Jackson ballads album if it ever gets released
