I’m not saying the poster was added because of John Lennon’s death or that anything was reshot. The Beatles poster was already part of Jack’s room earlier in the season as well as the series.

I was just pointing out the coincidence that this particular episode — which happens to feature that poster — aired on December 9, 1980, the day after Lennon was killed.

Since John Ritter was a big Beatles fan in real life, the timing just stood out to me as an interesting bit of TV history.
