Yeah, I agree with all of you. She did ruin her life, and ugh even if I got pregnant at 14 I wouldn't get married I'd get an abortion. I'm 16 and I've only been out with one guy when I was 15 and uh he was 15 too and we only did that once... if you know what that means lol and I sure as hell made sure it was protected. But at 14 getting pregnant by someone who is 24 is totally disguisting ICK ICK ICK there won't even be that big of an age difference between the mother and child. i know its illegal to date someone over 18 if your a minor and there is more than 4 years diff. thats just DATING. so a 16 and 18 yr old could date but a 13 and an 18 yr old could not, and a 14 and 22 yr old could not....its a weird law but its for real around here at least.

This woman I work w/ is 19 year old with a 4 year old kid... she was 14 years old when she got married.. wans't pregant, she said she was "wild" and just wanted a man to marry and have a house... turns out she "loved him" and they've been marreid for like 5 years... so it's legal to get married at any age I suppose w/ parents consent

Whoa...I actually remembered something from Business Law class. When I was reading through the posts, the parental note came into my mind too. In the BL textbook they listed the states and how old you could be to get hitched. You could get married at that young of an age with your parents permission (only a few states).

It does seem nasty and disgusting all the way around. The marriage won't last long. I just bet you it won't last long at all. I bet they were forced into marriage. The parents of the girl prob. made them get married since she was pregnant and all that.

That's pretty sad, IMHO. Where were the girl's parents? This guy should be arrested, not only for having sex with a minor, but for taking away her childhood.

Yeah it's legal but I think only when he or she is married to another minor.Just imagining Amanda (17.Still a minor) screwing 19 year old (technicly that's illegal) gets me sick but this just makes my skin crawl.

Yeah as long as a minor has parental consent they can get married. I don't think it's right though. She's 14 and he's 24, she can't do half of the things he can do. Drive, gamble, drink. Hell, she technically can't even get into rated R movies. That's just sick.
