My sister and best friend,Leah, passed away last night from complications from a fall. She was a retired RN. I just can't believe that she won't be calling me everyday.:( I always considered her the family beauty(as you can see):)

She had several other physical problems (COPD,A fib) that were severly aggravated by phsical therapy, She broke her sternum in the fall. Her body just couldn't recover properly.

She was 4 years younger than me. She liked the Beatles but her favorite was Barry Manilow puke::lol: We were very close but had very different tastes in movies, music, etc.

It seems that the older sibling is less likely to be a Manilow fan. My brother is 3 & 1/2 years older than me and would never listen to him. By contrast about 20% of my current playlist is Barry Manilow...!

I looked for a picture with Leah and me in it. This was taken in the mid 90's. I am the one holding the baby. Leah is sitting in the chair next to my Mom. That's my dad on the right.
