I read in a 1977 article that there is no graduation for Julie and viewers are supposed to assume she already graduated lol Season 3 starts with Julie and the older man 4 parts.

And I guess he came to the house to meet the family like the 42 year old on Good Times did with Thelma:lol::lol:

Yeah. A lot different than nowadays if a guy much older wanted to date a daughter. Probably try to get him arrested now!

This 4 parter is pretty good. But yeah, same as season. 2, starts out really focusing on Julie much more than Barbara. As TVFactfan said before.

Since David had moved to and was living in LA, maybe the Dodgers.

From today's eps. I loved the cute bunny that had to be renamed Roberta from Robert because she was about to have baby rabbits, and Julie had to explain to the little girl. That was a cute scene .:)

And that goofy , funny guy was on again. The one who the Grandfather didn't like from Season 2.:That was a funny scene. Julie had to cancel her bowling date with him to go to Toledo with the older guy, and stuck Barbara with him.

Yeah, he’s the surprise at the end.

That actor also played Mario on Joannie loves Chachi , the Happy Days spinoff. Mario was the one who real deadpan, and in a no expression tone of voice , would go 1, 2, 3, 4 before the band started a song. It was so weird it was funny!

Bonniegirl

So , did Julie still work for Paul at the vet clinic? Or was it too awkward for her? It was a good job, and even if she didn't fall in love with Paul she really liked the job.

And I didn't really get what they still couldn't just date sometime? Maybe cool it back a little, def not marry or even live together. But they got along and were comfortable with each other, had fun together. They couldn't have still gone out for dinner or go to the movies sometimes? Why completly break it off? You really don't have to have all your interests in common, and the age difference, wouldn't be a problem really just casually dating.

I've seen Barbara wear that a couple times before. It is not a hair piece but a very

No . Boring Miss Loring was Esmerelda , she was an added on recurring character in later seasons. A bumbling housekeeper. Aunt Clara was an elderly Aunt that stuttered and screwed up her spells . I think nowadays they would say Aunt Clara had dementia, even though she was a witch.

Yeah. She did look older than a teenager. I will look out for her on the Waltons, cause I watch that show.

Those episodes were pretty emotional. Sad, cause it really showed how her parents swept the family problems under the carpet. The Mom had mental issues too like Melanie. But cool that the Dad finally got it and listened to that doctor.

Cliff was comic relief, made the ep.funny though, thinking Melanie was a turtle. And Schneider getting his pants fixed by Julie with him there in his underwear was funny. Julie got in a few good funny lines too.

I haven’t seen that show with those two Dicks in a long time.

Yeah. Lots of jokes about Lucy's " natural" red hair. One time when Ricky had family visit from Cuba , his Mom commented on Lucy's lovely hair. They were speaking in Spanish, and Ricky answered in Spanish , but the last two words he said were Henna rinse! So even if you didn't understand Spanish, you knew Ricky blew the secret of her natural red hair.

Got a surprise in the Schneider's kid episode. When John showed up I wasnt expecting him to say mommy sun super son :lol::lol:

Wasnt John supposed to be dating Barbara? If so why did she ask him what he want:lol: It would have been nice to see Schneider and his son come back from the father and son event

And I felt so bad in the Ann crisis episode. Thought the doctor was interested in her and shows up with a girl almost half her age lol I thought she was going in her bedroom to cry and then schneider's date was in there. Then she reminded me of Maude by talking to herself for 5 mins. Maude did it for a entire episode.

John was in that episode? I watched the whole thing and somehow missed him ! Only time my Husband came in the room and asked me a question for a minute, must have been the scene he was in. Weird, and bad timing, I like John.

Today Ann had a headband on, but it was red and thicker. Made more sense than Barbara's the other day.

And could they have picked an actor that looked more like Schneider? Ronny looked nothing like Schneider. He looked more like he should be Ann's son.

I thought that Dr.was a jerk. First of all you don't get invited to a party and bring someone else along unless you ask the host first if you can bring them. And it was obvious Ann was upset, being away from the party so long. The Dr.should have noticed this and he and the girl should have just left. Yet they were still there dancing at the end.

And it was sad, weird, funny all combinned in one Ann talking to herself in the mirror. I can not believe how women made such a big deal about age back than. And 36 is not old! Come on! Nowadays age isn't as big a deal as long as you are in good health and still look pretty good.

Bob was very inexperienced with girls. So shy and nervous too. And he really put Barbara up on a pedestal, like a queen which would make him more nervous in that situation, really didn't want to feel disrespectful, even thought he wasn't at all. I was thinking the 6 month rehab played a role in her not being seen during season 4

She’s in most of season 4 and the first half of season 5 before she starts not appearing. It’s season 6 she completely misses before returning season 7.

Thanks for the article.

Good luck. I still haven’t learned why Valerie missed an episode in season 8, the only one of the series she wasn’t in.

The episode was about two years later.

Both episodes good tonight. And Julie's move is a two parter.

IDK? I think if I were Barbara, I would keep denying to Miss Loring about knowing anything. High school is a bad place to get a reputation as a snitch. But glad it worked out for her.

The end of John. Do we think him and Eileen went off to a lifetime of happiness, or were they one and done?

All Star break. They’re trying U.S vs World this time.

If you’re really gonna research missing Valerie that episode aired March 28 1983 although it obviously would have been filmed before that.

I guess it was supposed to be that John and that girl Eileen became a couple. So no more casual dates with Julie or Barbara.
