I'll have to tape this, I'd also like to see him. The guy who played Gary Ewing
on Knotts Landing had a part on the Young and Restless recently.

who did Max play

He did a one-day guest spot as an old hippie, Merle, who gave the characters of Shawn and Belle (who kidnapped their baby from her ex-husband, the baby's legal father who thought HE was the biological dad, etc.) refuge at his safe house in Canada. I thought it amusing that this burned out guy kept mentioning being a draft dodger during 'Nam, when Max Gail's signature character Wojo, of course, was a Marine who served in 'Nam. Anyway, it was fun seeing Mr. Gail in a role that was sort of a departure for him.
