TVInsider and Zap2it updated: Modern Family is quietly joining nick@nite lineup only airing 2am-4am, replacing Mom slot which is off the lineup for now. Mom last airing will be September 2.

Wonder why not new shows air at primetime? They want to KEEP Friends in primetime, until around 2am because it only did decent in ratings, but I think it's obvious boomers and millennials like Friends.

But why is it "quietly" joining the line-up? It makes it seem that Nick@Nite is ashamed of including the show.

When I meant "quietly", I meant the fact that Modern Family promo has NOT been advertised nor mentioned on text yet, I just looked up yesterday when zap2it and TVInsider updated replaced "To Be Announced" and Modern Family listings just showed up.

The show has been on E! and would later lose rights after Sept 6. It used to air on USA network, but not anymore. It will still continue to air on TBS as well.

This might be hinted that Nick@Nite will air 2024 Video Music Awards. It's been done every year since 2019. And if that's the case, then this would be 5th time Friends on day didn't air single one. Last time was Sept 2023 when Nick@Nite aired 2023 Video Music Awards and Friends airing wasn't in there for a day.


Speaking of Friends, in weird way, each day they're airing each season from beginning for no reason.

Nick at Nite made a promo for Modern Family.

Modern Family is a great and funny show they should put in primetime it will not gain viewers airing only in graveyard overnight slots.

Great to see Modern Family got promo. I do wish Modern Family to air on primetime, but problem was Friends was doing too good to air in primetime to move more further late night slots. After what happened with Young Sheldon when used to air in primetime before, there was fan outrage on social media, so nick@nite kept Friends in primetime.

However no promo for Friends a thon, nor mentions of it. Airing it as usual.

Nickelodeon finally issued a press release for Modern Family.

Although the statement says,

"The series joins a stellar roster of popular family comedies, including Emmy® Award-winning shows Friends, Mike & Molly and Mom, as well as beloved sitcoms Young Sheldon and The Neighborhood, and marks the first time the sitcom will air within Paramount’s family of brands."

Mike & Molly and Mom already left nick@nite recently.

Weird they're each day starting Friends with episode 1 from each season.

Off the clock AGAIN is different.

Modern Family joins, and updated nick@nite schedule.

2024 Video Music Awards premieres on Wed at 8pm, and it's likely it be more off the clock that doesn't match what tvguides say. NOT the first time they've done this.

The TV Guides aren't matching with Nick at Nite's schedule for tonight. I didn't watch from 9PM-12AM so I don't know what times the Friends episodes actually aired at.

The reason why Nick at Nite is starting Friends from the very beginning this Sunday night. It's because they're advertising it as a Every Friends Episode Ever event.

It looks like Nick at Nite isn't speeding up Friends.

So does this mean is it in high pitch and do they show ending tags for most episodes?

For what I'm noticing, Friends, Modern Family, and The Neighborhood are airing in cycle with holiday episodes, but Young Sheldon isn't. I'm still concerned about the treatment of Young Sheldon airing weekdays 6am hour slot.

Nick at Nite is making a schedule change starting next week Mike & Molly returns airing from 4-6AM replacing The Neighborhood.

On Sat Oct 19, Nick@Nite will air Modern Family in primetime airing Halloween episodes starting at 9pm to 12:30am for one time, moving Friends to late around 12:30am.

I wonder if this is one year anniversary of Matthew Perry death? Could this be the case?

After finishing up Every Friends Ever at end of Oct 15, then after that, they're airing Friends episodes but ending each season, like Oct 16 9pm is "The One Where Ross and Rachel.. You Know", and ends at 1:32am season with "The One With Barry and Mindy's Wedding" Oct 17 9pm is season 3, The One Where Ross and Rachel Take a Break, 1:32am The One at the Beach.., etc, so on for each season pattern.

Nick at Nite made a promo for the Modern Family Halloween episodes marathon that happens next Saturday night.

Nick@Nite doesn't seem to be airing Young Sheldon Halloween episode this year this time according to TVInsider. So don't know why it's still around after this.

Nick at Nite still haven't aired the sick day episode season 1 either.

Nick at Nite aired promo for Friends: Halloween Fit Check to air starting this Friday Oct 25 at 10pm-12am. It will be for that week.

Nick@Nite next week off the clock will now be consistent, like 1:35am, 2:09am, 2:44am, 3:18am, 3:50am, 4:24am, 4:55am, 5:27am; half hour program lost. And/or 1:35am, 2:09am, 2:44am, 3:18am, 3:50am, 4:16am, 4:42am, 5:10am, 5:34am..

Will try to keep posting week to week schedules sooner..

10pm hour for this week (Monday[today]-Wednesday only) Friends airing Thanksgiving episodes, then Thursday 9pm-2:09am Friends Thanksgiving episodes.

According to TV Insider, Young Sheldon goes back to season 1 on Friday, December 13th again.

I think Nick at Nite is never going to air the show past season 4.

I sent the contact to Paramount company for nick@nite about what's going on with Young Sheldon as to not airing season 5 and beyond. I'm more concerned for nick@nite's treatment. If this continues by next year/next fall 2025 and not airing season 5 and beyond, might be a sign the show isn't going to last for long.

At least is TBS is treating it better by airing season 5 and season 6. Season 7 might air for much much later..

This week, Friends airings and Modern Family on nick@nite somehow are random and NOT in order for each day, but ordering episodes, like starting with Thanksgiving episodes instead of airing mostly in order..

Also Mike & Molly airings seem to be random and skipping episodes instead of airing in order.

According to TVInsider, for third time in a row Modern Family airs in primetime, Nick@Nite will air Modern Family Christmas episodes on Sat Dec 21 from 9pm-12am.


I'm beginning to wonder whether later on nick@nite will take in permanent slot for Modern Family? I doubt it.. given how much long Friends have been airing in primetime for too long.

nickatnite.com main page, and nickatnite.com/shows page, as well as selections only now lists Friends, but Mike & Molly, and Mom are NOT listed; but in google search each pages are there. Even Young Sheldon and Seinfeld pages are there on google search.

I wonder if this is a sign for website for upgrade or removal?

According to TV Insider, Young Sheldon is gone from nick@nite starting week of Dec 23, being replaced by Modern Family. Young Sheldon had been airing 6am half hour slot since last April nonstop, and also only airing first four seasons, and didn't air beyond that, given it's on autopilot.

I wonder if other Viacom network will pick up Young Sheldon sometime by January 2025, since nick@nite later will lose rights.

I see Paramount is getting cutbacks in 2025, and I also heard that if Paramount and Skydance merge is finalized, by spring it's likely presidents of Paramount would be laid off including Brian Robbins.

N@N schedule for week of Dec 23 is weird a little... but after Dec 25 doesn't have Mike & Molly. 12am-2am is a placeholder..

Modern Family on Dec 25 again will air primetime for Christmas episodes.

According to TV Insider Nick at Nite is going to be airing The Big Bang Theory starting on Christmas Eve night from 12-2AM!

I will later make new thread for Big Bang Theory soon as I can.

Also it looks like nick@nite is taking back 8pm hour, starting Mon Dec 30. Every Sundays 8pm still are nick@nite Friends. Mon Dec 30 8pm hour is Modern Family, but rest other days are placeholder. Stay tuned.
