If I am at home on weekday afternoons I watch Wings at 3:00 on Rewind channel. So today I started watching and it seemed weird somehow ? But there was Antonio a character on Wings but with two other people I didn't recognize at all? So I figured a scene change soon and there would be some of the regulars . Well no, it went on with " Antonio" and the two other unknown people. So I thought OK maybe a backdoor pilot episode that was never picked up ? An episode of Wings I never saw before? :confused:

So anyway a commercial came on , than they did an advertisement on the Nanny / COZI TV ! Than it dawned on me ! I was ON COZI TV and it was The Monk I was watching for 10 minutes NOT Wings on Rewind. :eek:The channels are close together , and the actor who is Monk played Antonio on Wings !

Props to him though , he aged well. Monk is quite a bit more recent than Wings and he looked the same!

So IDK ? How much longer would I have watched The Monk thinking it was Wings had the Nanny advertisement for COZI not come on?:crazy:

I've never seen the Monk ( except for that 10 minutes) . Wings is really funny as is the Nanny. I guess Nanny is more a girls show, but Wings , definitely guys enjoy ! The Nanny too guys enjoy . Both really good funny shows.:)

Maybe I will give The Monk a try, being I do like the guy who plays him on Wings. ;)

Is it common knowledge out there as to why they're called the Dodgers (not that the name came over from the Brooklyn move but as to what it meant in Brooklyn)

I don't think many people know why they are called the Dodgers. I didn't know either until 2008 when the Cubs played them in the NLDS. I knew that they originated in Brooklyn but that's about it. I guess spent many years studying Cubs history lol

Yeah!! :D But no! All kidding aside I was so sick I was really thinking of going to Emergency or at least Urgent care! I REALLY could not even keep water down for almost 24 hours! Than the next day I was a lot better! IDK what it was? No stomach pain or diarrhea. Just profuse vomiting like every 10 minutes, exhaustion and lethargy . I could not even get up from the bed except to throw up ! Finally ( this is a bit gross) but I just put a hefty trash bag next to the bed to vomit in! When Hubby got home from work, I was still in bed and had no desire to watch the game! I hadn't watched any TV all day . Didn't even want to read a book, and you know how I love to read ! Only went on the internet for a few minutes here and there! :(

Win or lose , there will be looting, setting a city bus on fire , throwing rocks at the cops, fireworks ( even blowing ones fingers off) and falling off a building and almost dying that one climbed up on to celebrate! Yes! A new restaurant across the street was a competition for the Lanford Lunchbox that had brought Schneider in for a grand opening celebration! Jackie being excited about seeing Schneider brought him over to the Lunchbox where Roseanne basically kicked him out for fratenizing with the enemy! :lol:

So mine is Barbara gets sick, leaving Max overextended at work and Mark dealing with cooking the meal, with Barbara refusing rest and trying to help Max out by phone and continuing to get out of bed to check on Mark in the kitchen, with Mark trying to get her into bed (that may have come out wrong, but you know what I mean).

The parade is on tape I guess. Starts at 9 here too. Than the dog show at 12. Than at 2 they rerun the parade . I don't think they play it live at 6AM too. I'm never up with the TV on yet but I don't think they would play it 3 times ? :confused:

Speaking of the parade , something pretty cool. A first in the 100 years the parade has run. At the end ,the finale of the parade Santa rolls in and Mrs. Claus is on the float with him. This year for the first time, Mrs. Claus was a black lady . Making the Claus's an interracial couple. I thought that was sweet, very progressive !:)

No. As much as I love Dick Van Dyke, I never got into that show really. My parents watched it first run , I was really little than. When it came on in reruns I considered it an " An old peoples show" My parents being in their 30's when

they watched it , they were SO OLD!! :lol: Same with Odd couple and Barney Miller. My parents shows. " Old people shows" , being they were in their 40's than- early 50's perhaps! :D

I ended up liking Odd Couple recently , maybe I will give Dick Van Dyke Show another look. I loved him in Diagnosis murder , even his newer show, a short lived show in the 70's .I think it was called the " The new Dick Van Dyke show" . And of course Mary Poppins ! ::)

No. Cats get really attached to their humans too. But with 5 of them, they have each other to keep company with. It's better than one cat being left with a cat sitter might miss their primary human!

I kinda had a moment myself. I drank yesterday and kind of " went off" on the Members you miss thread. Basically in a nutshell I said unless members who haven't been on in a while are dead, in a coma, incarcerated, blind or without use of their hands to type , let it go, leave them be if they no longer want to be here on SO! And quit living in the past ! :eek::lol:
