For anybody who watched tonight's episode, do you think when Jeff asked Lisa if her difficulty in choosing who to vote out at tonight's tribal council was a similar situation to her in her past, do you think she was saying yes to her divorce? And how the heck did Jeff know to ask that question?!?! It's like he knew when she didn't tell anybody during the taping of the show!

You know, I had exactly the same thoughts!!!  She said that she had similar problems in making a very difficult decision, "but it was personal."
I knew exactly what she was talking about. At the time of the taping, she wasn't going to say much about it, I knew. That was pretty incredibly that Jeff asked that question!

So many mysteries to Lisa, aren't there! ;)

Sometimes I wonder how her experience on 'Survivor' will affect so many things, so many decisions in her life. I felt so terrible when she cried in that one episode, feeling so all alone, no one trusting her. There was no one at home for her now, her kids were half the world away and no husband for that emotional support anymore. It just tore me up. :crying:

'Survivor' isn't just a high-stakes game, I think for her, it is what is known as a vision quest.

I think Lisa handled that question well, all she did was nod her head and faintly said yes and that was it. I know there are times Lisa thinks she just can't play this game but she made it to the top 6 and no votes against her yet so obviously she is doing something right. And I agree, ABlairican Pie I felt bad for Lisa also when she was crying about feeling all alone. I kind of had a feeling she was secretly crying about her divorce more then anything. I'm Really hoping Lisa win this game!

I hope so, too, you never know!! But if they can get that smug Abi out of there, then we can enjoy the game!!! :D

It's rather strange, in the latest People, she seems to take her divorce in stride, that she and Steve are actually quite amicable in their business relationships. But since this episode was filmed a few weeks, as far as I can tell, after her divorce became final, I am very certain she was very emotional in that segment due to the breakup of her marriage. I'm sure a number of things brought on her tears. :crying: It was so hard not to feel terrible for her.

She's actually doing very well, she's taken a more proactive role in the game.
But she admits she feels very conflicted in her decision to either remain loyal to certain members of her alliance, or to go ahead and blindside certain people who may be worth sacrificing, though they may have been kind to her. This game is getting very rough for her, and she hates making unpopular decisions. But there have been some moments where she has really opened up to people who fully understand her and she's beginning to find out a lot of things about herself. These are amazing episodes. Tonight's episode should be very good.

I didn't get to watch last night's episode, they didn't have it on CBS last night at the fitness center. :wallbang Lisa gave me the link on FB in October which gave me the chance to catch up on a few episodes a while back, but I can't find the link now. I wonder if I might be able to search for it online, because I really want to see it!!!

I've been rooting for Lisa since day 1 hope she wins. I had no idea about her divorce til I read the yahoo blurb. I really don't like Jeff he likes to cause drama just for ratings.

Oh, and I cannot believe you diehard FOLers don't know this. Massive fail, guys :D

Justice is actually Justice Coleman. He used to be Casey Coleman, he changed his name after 9/11. And he's Lisa's half-brother--same mother, different fathers

I knew he went by Casey as his first name for a while then he changed it to Justice. Actually Casey is his middle name and Justice is his real first name.

Wow, that episode with Lisa being with Justice was so incredibly moving. It was so touching to see her cry--and when she hugged him, she made these unbelievable moans of pain. It had me moved to tears. :crying: I had never heard anyone make these sounds before. Wow. These episodes are incredible. I finally got to see it online after searching.

Yea, I haven't really watched survivor much the last 4 or 5 years, but had to start watching when I heard Lisa was going to be on and I have to say, minus the other people being dumbasses, I'm quite enjoying seeing Lisa play the game! I'm excited for this weeks episode and the finale Sunday

Only Skupin and Penner know she is from FOL. I don't understand why Denise doesn't know this because she is in her 40's.

Maybe she didn't watch the show? Hmmmm.

I was wondering today if people are rooting for Lisa either because they recognize her from "Facts Of Life", or from her Christian ministry, or that they just like her from "Survivor"?

It would be really interesting if someone liked her from "The New Mickey Mouse Club" and had no idea she did anything else since then.

Actually I was reading Denises survivor facebook page and someone asked her if she knew who Lisa was and she said this Denise Stapley Survivor Phillipines- Yupper...knew who she was from moment one. And she also said it was pretty cool for her to be mud wresting with Lisa when they did that one challange with the big ball and that Lisa was pretty strong.

So did anyone ask her if she was a FOL fan? She must have watched the show often enough to remember Lisa's face that readily.

I hated the way Abi treated everyone, especially Denise. That girl was such an insufferable parasite.

So, where are all the Lisa fans? She did not win Survivor, but she did come in Top Three... and was named the Sprint Favorite Player, receiving $100,000.

Personally, I think she did amazing. And she does look very happy.

Also, did anyone else notice Steve Cauble sitting in the front row with the kids? Kudos to that!

Yeah that was really nice of her to let Steve come along I know she said once that he was supporting her on survivor. Also bummed she didn't win title of Sole Survivor but glad she won player of the season. I loved watching Lisa on the show she is such a neat person and loved what she said about her Christianity there on the reunion show. I just hope this isn't the last we see of Lisa, maybe like some others have said her and her brother Justice should try out for the Amazing Race wouldn't that be cool the two of them I think would do great. But I just hope great things for Lisa in the future. So happy she made the finale 3 and player of the season. And to quote a scene from FOL Doh Wah she did have alot of fun, got to meet Jeff Probst, she got to know what it was like to be out on the island and she made alot of friends she will have for the rest of her life ;)

I love the pic of her winning the Sprint award and (most) everyone seeming happy for her. If she is happy, I guess I will try to be too, but I can't help feeling irritated with some of the jury. Denise was kind of cocky in her speech towards them, but they all (except the two who didn't seem at all bitter, Carter and RC) voted for her!? Denise played a good game, and I'll give her and Skupin credit: they didn't pull out the Facts of Life card to further their game. I wouldn't have blamed them since they were both actually still in the game..why exactly was Penner so angry towards Lisa? Did she really do him dirtier than any of the others? He was a nice guy when things were going his way and then as soon as he got voted off, he turned psycho.

Maybe Lisa would've been better off being more open about her acting past. Telling everyone she used to have money and fame but was now a middle-class normal Nellie. Then no one would've thought she was this totally different person with secrets when Penner's revelation came out.

I would love to see her on tv again, but preferably not another reality show. People would start to think of her as a fame whore. And she does have acting talent and still looks great so there's no reason to think she couldn't land a sitcom or maybe a talk show.

That was pretty awesome she got the $100,000. Let's see, wasn't there that contest that if an online voter's name was chosen, they'd win as well or something? Yeah, I tried that. But I was happy just to vote for our favorite player!!!

I didn't get to see the third hour, had to get home and get four hours of sleep last night. Surprised she only got one vote, but oh well.

I heard in an interview that Lisa is going to do some co-hosting on the Jeff Probst show in January for like a week or so. I think she would do great as a tv show host or something like that and I would love to see her do a guest spot on Hot In Cleveland.

I don't think we know how many votes she got. They only counted until the winner was declared. So, the other votes were never put on display.

Did She reveal that she was on FOL in the reunion show?

I read on another board that she and Skupin each got one vote and Denise got all the rest.

I wonder what kind of roles Lisa would be willing to take now. It would be a lot harder in 2012 as an adult to find squeaky clean roles than it was as a teen in the 70's and 80's. Like, if she played an unmarried character, would she be all right with the character dating casually and having sexual relationships (off screen of course). I understand not wanting to take a sleazy role or one that she's uncomfortable with, I just think it would be very hard to find shows like FOL to act on today and it might limit her opportunities.

I just finished watching the finale and reunion on demand. I thought the top three people deserved to be in the top three. I am happy for Denise and glad that she won. I actually liked her. I'm glad that Skoop was there too. Lisa was still looking good even though she was on that island and she was an eye candy knockout at the reunion. She was gorgeous!!! She got pimped regarding airtime on the reunion as well. It seems as though she got more camera and talk time than anyone else and I loved that!!! :p

That doggone Penner tried to give that vindictive, overly dramatic speech with the intent to belittle Lisa, Denise and Skoop. It was really stupid and he looked foolish to me. It seems all he has left is bitterness while Denise has a million dollars and the title of Survivor season 25 winner and while Lisa has the title of "Most popular player", 100,000 dollars, fame recognition and a guest hosting gig on "The Jeff Probost Show". So yes, Penner, your job is complete. :p

P.S. Dawson, that was unwise to kiss Jeff Probost like that at the reunion and Jeff, THAT REALLY WISE AND SMART for you to say that although Dawson was a good kisser, it is your wife who is better. Save yourself so your wife won't have to kick your butt when you come home.;)
