View Full Version : Is that really Suzanne Somers in the opening credits who walks past Jack in season 1? TVFactFan 09-28-2002, 09:18 PM I was told by someone that in the opening credits of Three's Company in the first season, suzanne somers is the girl who walks past jack with a wig on while he is riding the bike and falls in the sand. Is this true? Sean Snow 09-28-2002, 09:37 PM Yep, that's Suzanne with a brunette wig on. TVFactFan 09-28-2002, 09:45 PM Originally posted by Sean Snow Yep, that's Suzanne with a brunette wig on. It was just supposed to be a regular girl on the Santa Monica beach, so they made Suzanne unregonizable. They were trying to get the credits done real fast so they just stuck her in a wig instead of getting someone else to do it. It would make more sense too, since there would be no reason for Jack to fall off his bike at the site of Chrissy since he sees her everyday. Restless 09-29-2002, 03:03 AM Now this I find really interesting, I had no idea.. Montana Ponine 09-29-2002, 11:41 AM Yep...says so in Come and Knock on Our Door as well. OMG i didnt know that. im gonna have to look more closely next time. ficlopri 10-03-2002, 03:45 AM Actually whoever girl that really is she seems to have brown hair more than brunette. She doesn't seem to walk like Sommers. Or even have her build that much. I am not sure our "Chrissy" is really that girl. Here's his quote from the Three's Company book: But who would be the sexy brunette that would make Tripper fall? Says John, "That brunette is Suzanne with a wig. You can tell by her little Suzanne buns." Seawell says Somers' shapeliness made her the perfect canidate. "I told the costume designed to run and find a wig--anything that looks unlike Suzanne." I think John also mentioned this on the E! True Hollywood Story or some other thing on TC. It IS true, the brunette and Suzanne both have the same build. And one castmember and a crewmember have confirmed this. I guess we can't believe anything in the TC book because it might contain mistakes  And maybe just because one book has mistakes, doesn't mean they all have to. And besides, you don't know that it's not true . . . . grade4 12-05-2003, 11:17 PM Originally posted by Sean Snow I think John also mentioned this on the E!
