Its a sitcom and the scripts are written for laughs, not reality. Reality is a tetanus shot is not even given in the butt. Its given in the arm. But its funnier for Jack have to expose his butt for his future roommate. This indirectly leads to Jack not wanting her to be their roommate. And we get a suspense 2 part cliff hanger if Terri moves in. But wait! Larry's got an idea to chase Terri away with gag tricks :lol:

That's for sure. I see that. In Furley's first season he was goofy but not dumb. As the years go by he is still goofy but really dumb and naive.

I saw Terri's introductory episode again the other day, and I still find what Terri accused Jack of as weird. Basically, Terri said point blank to Jack, "You don't want me to assist you because I'm a woman!" I'm of course, paraphrasing, but that's basically the gist of where Terri was going with that type of statement.

When at any point did Jack even clearly imply that he didn't want a woman to give him medical attention? To me, Terri was practically making a straw man (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man) argument (https://owl.excelsior.edu/argument-and-critical-thinking/logical-fallacies/logical-fallacies-straw-man/). Last night on youtube I was watching a Burger King video from 1988. Everyone in the kitchen is making burgers with their bare hands. Hands go into the tomatoes and even touching the beef patties with bare hands. Its shocking to see today but that was the way it was back then. The medical and dental profession wore gloves before fast food workers. I can remember around 1982 when my dentist started wearing gloves.

To this day I will not have a female nurse. Nope. Jack was def the modest type around women. I and my male buddies are nude with each other at the gym all of the time, but we’d flip out if a woman came in.
