I'd say many here don't know the Edsel and it's short history. I recall it and didn't know why it failed, but that it was ugly and being pushed by a man, Henry Ford to honor his son.... Here is the skinny on it, and I'm hearing many comparing it to the EV flop. The people do not want the EV's.

I am very aware of the Edsel's history, as I was born very close to the date of the Edsel's debut.

If I had a Ford Edsel I could retire early.
Gas is going to run out and people are going to have to move to EV's.

And be aware that the earth will run out or low low low on the minerals that go into the batteries and the fear of electric energy and grids...

Correction: the Edsel was not a Ford division product. It was intended to be a step up from the Ford division line. I believe it was meant to compete with Pontiac and Dodge.

No Idea how much Oil is in the Earth. It will run out. It's will eventually go to solar and electric.

And we hope our leaders are working on how to manipulate the SUN we'll to keep that Solar working...
