Thelma went downhill FAST after the third Season.

In Season 4, Thelma lets Ray in and let's him be ALONE with her to wait for Willona and Florida come back from shopping . This would have been all fine and dandy if Ray hadn't made a leery comment (Delicious)while smiling creepily at Thelma on Willona's birthday. Ray tries to rape Thelma but luckily Willona and Florida come back just in time. Thelma shouldn't have answered the door at all. At least Thelma calls Ray out for being a creep in front of Willona.

Thelma actually believes Lloyd's lie about being a top secret agent for the Government who can only work at night :rolleyes:)In reality, Lloyd was in some kind of halfway house or something like that because he was married to two different people at the same time at one point. Igbe implied he might do that eventually, but for Igbe, being married to more than one woman in Africa is okay and part of African Culture but for Lloyd in America it's subject to incarceration) . Remember, Thelma also dumped Igbe because Igbe implied he might marry other women eventually if they got married.

Thelma believed that Penny fell and was confused on why Willona was accusing Miss Gordon of abusing Penny when it was obvious Penny was getting abused by Miss Gordon. :confused::rolleyes: I remember a GT Fan saying something like,"I'm shocked that Thelma actually believed Penny's lies(s). Thelma's usually more observant than that. Thelma eventually comes to her senses and sassily says something like,"Miss Gordon is probably shopping for boxing gloves!":lol:

Thelma had dreams of becoming a Doctor, a Writer, and a Dancer, and when she met/married Keith, she was just a stay at home wife with no career goals. A Fan said something like,"Thelma just stood by Keith smiling creepily when Keith was savagely roasting Cindy's racist Parents. The old Thelma wouldn't be standing there smiling creepily. She would have been savagely roasting Cindy's racist Parents too. They really ruined Thelma's character by this point." I don't think Thelma went down hill until the 6th season. In 4th and 5th season she went from being child of the family to adult female member of family. With love life that adults go thru. But in 6th season I agree that she wet down hill. Nothing to do but sit around the house and play shadow to Kieth. She even quit going college.
