View Full Version : Why did the Fonzie wear a Leather jacket on the beach??? TVFactFan 09-04-2002, 05:43 PM I saw the Hollywood episode yesterday on TV LAND and saw Fonzie on the bech WITH THAT LEATHER JACKET. I don;t know what the producers were thinking about but it was very silly to have the Fonzie character wear a jacket on the beach. Even the coolest guys in real life relax sometime-That scence with Fonzie wearing the leather jacket on the beach killed the whole episode. Granted, there were parts of episodes where Fonzie didn't wear his jacket, but to have him out of his jacket for an extended period of time would appear out of character for him, I guess. It may seem crazy for him to wear a leather jacket on a beach, but it was just part of the character. It's kind of like the surfing Batman episode. Batman surfs in the costume and the crazy looking trunks. It's part of the costume and the character.
