View Full Version : Good lord, Robert De Niro is a 79 year old new father! :O
Janice Johnson 05-13-2023, 06:45 PM This is creepy. Robert De Niro is 79 and just became a Father tona newborn. Robert is most likely going to be DEAD by the time the baby starts COLLEGE! To put this into perspective, my Grandmother became a great grandmother at 79!
biffbronson 05-14-2023, 09:33 AM Wow. My dad was 39 when I was born, and he was one of the older dads among my grade-school friends...!
Babalu 05-14-2023, 09:42 AM Another example of self righteous celebrities who preach to you how to live yet are completely selfish in their own lives.
He'll be lucky to make it till the kid's ten let alone college. It's not like he doesn't have any other kids. He has them scattered all over with different women.
JamesG 05-14-2023, 09:45 AM Somebody I know from the cigar lounge I hang out at became a new dad at 59.
He has children with his first wife who are now in their 40s and 2 grandchildren. His current wife is 42, roughly the same age as one of his daughters.
Caroline13 05-14-2023, 01:24 PM DeNiro can do what he wants, and he's carrying on the name I guess. He's paying, so what does it matter, and older men go after younger chicks anyway, and if they meet a younger gal, who wants a baby, then?????? The new baby is not for him, but for the gf. Who will be a caregiver to him.
He has 4 grandkids.
TVLegend 05-14-2023, 01:45 PM Lawd. Someone please put this man in a mental hospital. Or better yet, a nursing home.
Hell, I’m surprised he hasn’t landed in a coma just thinking about having another child at his age.

Hell, I’m surprised he hasn’t landed in a coma just thinking about having another child at his age.
His part in his decision is he will pay, she will be fine financially. You don't get it???? Good on him for being able to do what he's done at 79, if all this is true. He comes across to me as a healthy old man. Put him in a mental hospital, for what, being too healthy.
TVLegend 05-14-2023, 02:55 PM His part in his decision is he will pay, she will be fine financially. You don't get it???? Good on him for being able to do what he's done at 79, if all this is true. He is obviously LOONEY TUNES if he’s going through with something like this. LOL. How selfish is it for him to deprive a child of possibly having a father in his life? I mean, it’s embarrassing that he’s willing to be a father again at damn near 80 years old because someone young thing obviously has the hots for his money and not him.

He is not looneytunes, in your mind I guess.
Good lawd, the dead beat sperm donors out there.....TVL, ever think of this?
There are so many children with both parents and are so screwed up and so many with fathers who impregnated women and ran away......never have given a penney for their kids and yet any of their time. They are worthless.

Exactly. Liberals want to pretend that having a father isn't important because a good portion of their constituency have none and they want people to believe that the nanny state will take the father's place.
America started to decline when having out of wedlock children became popular. "He my baby daddy" is one of the most despicable phrases in the English language.
Bonniegirl 05-14-2023, 06:31 PM IDK?? I think it's kinda sweet ! A man can be any age and be a Father as long as he can " perform" ! And he of course has plenty of money to support a child , and when he passes will leave the child well off ! ;)
As long as his wife is young enough !:)
Dude111 05-14-2023, 11:00 PM Wow I hope he stays happy and all :)
Caroline13 05-15-2023, 01:33 PM Wow I hope he stays happy and all :)
He's not gonna change much Dude, just pay for one more child, the mother will be raising the baby. He is going to be just fine, he knows what he is doing.
Yong Fang 05-17-2023, 03:26 AM I sort of have an ethical issue with this since he will more than likely be dead before the child graduates high school. He will be 97 when this happens. Is it fair for a child to be raised by an elderly parent? Only so much they can do. DeNiro is wealthy so he can hire out help to do the dirty work and he has a child to play with and love.
Tony Randall was married with his first wife for over fifty years before she died and never had children. To Tony get married to a younger woman to be a father in his 70’s and he died when his two kids were in elementary school. Is that fair on them? They will not know much about their father besides reruns of TV shows.
James Doohan of Star Trek did the same thing, conceived a child in his 70’s and then dying before that child reaches high school.
Yong Fang 05-17-2023, 03:26 AM Robert DeNiro needs to go home and get his shinebox.
Caroline13 05-17-2023, 01:53 PM Robert DeNiro needs to go home and get his shinebox.
Why do you spend so much time worrying and being concerned with other's lives on parenthood etc?????? Not your/our business,
biffbronson 05-17-2023, 02:06 PM I guess it's none of our business what DeNiro decides to do. Unless he uses a microwave oven, or eats bread, peanuts, or chicken strips, or drinks juices that aren't from freshly-squeezed fruits, or needs to drop 30 pounds of weight, or has too big of a "waste" of land property, or has obese children, or collects paper that may be a "fire hazard"...
I don't always agree with Yong Fang but he has every right to reply on this thread, without being dismissed because someone disagrees.
Dianne3 05-17-2023, 03:04 PM I was going to mention Tony Randall, but someone beat me to it.
There is also Celine Dion's late husband, and Mick Jagger who also had kids very late in their life.
Babalu 05-22-2023, 07:15 AM Why do you spend so much time worrying and being concerned with other's lives on parenthood etc?????? Not your/our business,
Odd coming from someone that spends most of their time here telling others how to live.
Coffeecup 05-22-2023, 06:32 PM I do think as one poster said, it is tough on the child to have a very older dad. But in this day and age, although I don't know his relation with the childs mother, the mother in time will remarry and the little tot will have a stepfather. It is interesting to point out as in Tony Randall's children they will see their dad in reruns of the ODD Couple. The mother wants the child more than the father. also to have mother age 42 and dad age 79 one could say GOOD LORD!
Caroline13 05-22-2023, 06:57 PM Odd coming from someone that spends most of their time here telling others how to live.
What are you talking about? I don't tell anyone how to live. I talk about how I live, what I eliminate and yes I agree it's none of anyone's business how many kids DeNiro has and how late in life.
I suggest stuff for health improvment, and never have said Babalu you should do This and That.....never.
You of all people here, have a pretty strong willed mind. You do stand out and take that as you wish.

Past posts seem to call that claim into question, bold emphasis added to "lead them":
I am not a Sheep that can be led around, but more a Cat leader type. But don't TRY force others, lead them to more options but it's their choice what they end up doing.
Get Smart...

Yes, eat some real fruits and know those bottles, boxes of juices are loaded with garbage.....Make your own orange juice ...
(Contradictory to Carole's previous post in another thread: "And I don't want to sit around and eat piles of sugary fruits.")
And FYI, you would be a lot healthier (oops I said healthy) at 180 lbs ....
Oh if you and Wawwie take NR, you need to stop or you'll stop breathing....
Perhaps Carole's most revealing contradiction to her "who cares" response to De Niro's life choices is the following post she has made:
"What really irritates me is when people say I can't live without this or that....you need to mention air as the main Need"
Air, and grape seed extract.
Irritated by people's choices, but now claiming not to care about what De Niro does. Apparently only irritated if she disagrees with the choice.
The mystery is why Dude666 brought a health-fixated person to an entertainment site. The upheaval continues to this day. Bottom line: one can't come in and turn a forum upside down, and expect never to come into conflict. Many of us drink cow's milk, have some land to tend to, use a microwave oven, drink an occasional soda, etc. -- these things are anathema to Carole. But most of us are of an age where we're not truly in need of detailed leadership.

I've always found it creepy when people date people who are roughly the same age as their children, and even creepier when children are OLDER than their significant other. For example, in George Lopez Show, Vic, Angie's Dad has a much younger girlfriend named Lindsay. Lindsay is like 27 and Angie is like 40. So creepy and weird. Your child shouldn't be OLDER than your Significant Other.
Theda Bara 05-23-2023, 12:46 PM I do not know why anyone (in their right mind) would want to become a father again at 79? But, hey, if he wanted this baby, good for him.
IMO I would never bring a child into this world since the future does not look too promising (sorry for being overly pessimistic).

I agree
I once dated an older man whose children were around my age, and it was a weird feeling. His son looked older than I did.

Biff, since my opinions irritate you so, why not simply NOT read my info or do an ignore button on me. You sure do spend time and energy TRYING to make me wrong....:confused: I suppose what you do makes you feel good.

You are not being overly pessimistic, interesting that you are making a comment on this issue, I've prided myself in being the half glass full gal and in recent yrs it's troubling to get there. The last couple days I've had an interesting exchange with a CA born friend, she is in her later 70's, and she
moved to TX to be close to sons and grandkids, and she is not hearing all the pessimistic stuff in TX that I am hearing in CA.....she knows the inflation issues and others but her now state of TX is governed by the other side.
How much bumpier will the ride get????

Well how about this novel thought, DeNiro and the child's mother loved each other, how about that Loved??? and this is his love gift to her, a love child.
Nothing creepy about this..
TheLittleFaerie 05-24-2023, 03:39 AM Dick Van Dyke is 97 I believe, and his wife is in her 50s.... I say let people LIVE THEIR LIVES as long as they aren't harming anyone and both partners are consenting adults. It may look odd to some people, but hey, if they are happy, WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

De Niro is only a kid. Al Pacino at 83 is going to have a baby with his 29 year old girlfriend. lol
Caroline13 05-31-2023, 01:30 PM I'm laughing as I thought I heard a clip of this Pacino news on the radio and was going to look it up and here it is. Well, it's pretty Wild that these 2 great OLD actors are new fathers....the kids won't "want" for money in their lives...smart mothers ....and both mothers are from other countries and if they are not U.S. citizens, the babies are immediate citizens of the U.S..
On Noor, she has duel citizenships
Noor Alfallah seems to belong to a wealthy Kuwaiti American family, the reports said. She was earlier linked to 79-year-old Mick Jagger and 61-year-old philanthropist Nicolas Berggruen, according to a report by Page Six. Noor was also seen with 91-year-old filmmaker Clint Eastwood in the past.4 hours ago
Theda Bara 05-31-2023, 01:54 PM Pacino's baby mama is a notorious star****er, and seems to have an elderly man fetish. Some major daddy (or in Noor's case) grandpa issues :barf:
Good luck in getting any money from the parsimonious Pacino.
Yong Fang 05-31-2023, 07:12 PM I’m sorry and this is just me, but I am in my mid fifties (although I don’t look or act it) and would never date a woman under 45. For me dating or having sex with anyone under 35 (yet an adult) is nearly pedophila. A 35 year old was born in 1989. I graduated college in 1989! I doubt she would have the same interests as me. She would know nothing about the 1970’s or 1989’s except for what she sees on media. Someone in their easily 30’s might want to go clubbing or concerts. I don’t like that. Besides someone 35 is young enough to be my child. Hard to believe but it’s true.
I don’t know is that makes any sense or not. It is also unfair for a man who is nearly 80 to have a newborn child. Because the parent will be dead before the child graduates Middle School, much less high school. There are studies of children whose parents died when they were children and how negatively it affects them. I know this firsthand. This isn’t everyone of course, Bob Barker’s and John Goodman’s father died when they were very young.
My father is almost 91. Can’t see him with a teenage child, wouldn’t be fair to the teenage child.

That's exactly why I think it's a bad idea. If DeNiro's and Pacino's kids are lucky, their fathers will live until they're ten years old. That's a horrible thing to saddle a child with. Maybe in today's society, with a substantial segment of the population fathering children and disappearing, fathers are not considered important. But look where this has brought us: to a place where feral kids roam the streets in gangs robbing and killing; in short, being like a Third World country.
Caroline13 05-31-2023, 08:17 PM Those kids will not be feral kids and the fathers won't be running around on their knees playing with them. This is fact.
What the 2 guys have taken on is their choice and not any one else's.
And tragically there are too many kids in our world who are lost and not taken care of.
Sad state of affairs this wonderful great technological smart world....

:lol::D:lol::D
But for real , I saw on Inside Edition last night , Al Pacino also just fathered another baby at 83 ! Even older than DeNiro ! Either he is about to be? Or the baby is already born? Not sure? I was on the internet and had the TV on for background. But definatly is true, baby is on the way or already here ! ;)
Caroline13 06-01-2023, 03:07 PM I guess what I'm wondering, what do these old guys use for aids. Years of hormones, human growth hormones, implanted aids???? Their faces sure look OLD.
I knew a guy yrs ago and he was in his late 60's he had an implant, he loved his sex. No babies wanted, he had a nice family but a horny toad was he. He was the Italian Stallion.
Caroline13 06-01-2023, 03:20 PM Wonder if Robert and Al knew about DHEA? I doubt it, but you folks here know about it as I posted a post some time back on it's value and for sure on Libido enhancement.

On the DHEA, I just talked to my neighbor and she just had her 96th birthday and even though other issues like arthritis and digestive issues, her voice is strong and so is her constitution....and 96 and lives ALONE.
All of you young whippersnappers will get Old....plan ahead somewhat.

The problem I see with DeNiro being father at 80 is that the DeNiro might be happy since he is a dad, but child is the one that will suffer in the long run. That is one child that will never go fishing, camping, go to games or things that father and son do together. Not to mention not having father's guidance and support as the child comes up in the world.

I guess GRANDFATHER is going to have to take that role. GRANDFATHER (Mother is 42, so her Father is probably like 62. Kind of creepy that De Niro is OLDER than his girlfriend's FATHER. I can see GRANDFATHER taking Junior on fishing, camping, etc, things that would normally be done by the Father, not the GRANDFATHER. If Grandfather dies at 82, Junior will be a College Junior at the time of his death, at least he'll be an Adult when Grandfather dies....

What you and some here perceive as a problem in the DeNiro life, is not your issue and the child Will Not suffer and don't you hear that MANY Kids out there have no clue who their father is. 1000's of kids are living on the So. Cal. where is their father??????
No father issue is Worlwide, Golden.

2. When your first grandchild is born.
Why?
1. You want to be in it for the long haul (meaning being there for your new child until he is at least 25 or so).
2. If you continue to have new (biological) children after even one grandchild is born, you will have a "generation clash" (a more precise term would be "generation overlap") within your family.
Plus, if I ever become famous, remind me not to marry or have any new children with anyone who wasn't born when my career started or had my earliest breakout role.

I was watching a George Lopez episode and kind of similar to your post, Vic had a Fiancee named Lindsay. Lindsay was YOUNGER than Angie, Vic's DAUGHTER! So had Vic married Lindsay, Angie would have been OLDER than her STEPMOTHER, YIKES!

Yep, that is the very definition of generation overlap, alright. Parents are not supposed to be younger than their children, and uncles/aunts are not supposed to be younger than their nephews/nieces. I mean, what is the point of all that?
