I got back the 4th and get out like June 18th ish

Well, thank you for feeling sorry for me. :) I appreciate that cause last year, I got sick because of the heat. I think we had a couple of days left, & it was a really hot day in June. We were in English class watching some movie & it was burning up in there! The only thing we could do was open windows, & I sat right in front of a window that kept slamming shut & scaring everybody! It didn't help anyway, but I got to feeling bad & almost passed out. It was awful, & shouldn't happen at school. Now the school at our county seat has everything from all the heat & air they want, & all the students have laptop computers! What's worse is that that school controls our heat in the winter, & I think they're trying to freeze us to death! Stupid schools! I dont wanna go back Tuesday. blah, blah, Well, sorry about typing so much. I hope all of u in school have a fun year.

I think it's stupid that some schools start before Labor Day. Labor Day marks the end of summer and school shouldn't start till after that. When I was in school, the first day of classes was always in September. I mean it doesn't make sense to go back to school for a couple days and then get a Labor Day vacation.

I agree; that's like having a day off on a Thursday, going back on Friday, then having another two days off on Saturday and Sunday.

They might as well grant us a five-day weekend. :D

I think it's stupid that towns right next to each other have different back to school dates. That's the case here. I really mad about that.

Same here, a lot of my friends went back to school last week

I've already started, unfortunately.... yup. I hate hw. Anyway, Labor Day...I think we're going to Disneyland then. It's a great day to go because it's so empty...everyone's getting ready to go back to school.

Yeah, it's college. My school starts later than even most colleges. One college around here has already started, and most others start like the second week of September. My school's weird....but I still get out like the second week of June, and personally, I prefer having my extra weeks in September, rather than starting earlier and having extra weeks in June.

Also its cool because all the fall TV shows start airing right when I go back, so I have something fun to look forward to which softens the blow of going back.
