This is pretty much the opposite of my past thread (https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=393742) on the very worst showrunners ever. Has there ever been a time that a show has actually (https://collider.com/tv-showrunner-change/) improved (https://www.cbr.com/tv-shows-that-changed-showrunners-for-better-or-worse/) under (https://screenrant.com/tv-shows-survived-changing-showrunners/) new leadership (https://gizmodo.com/10-tv-shows-that-survived-after-their-original-showrunn-5933044)?

I can't think of any so far... most shows were better in their earliest seasons.

I always felt “A Different World” improved starting with season 2 when Debbie Allen took over from the previous showrunners.

I think when Dan Schneider left Nickelodeon in 2018, even with new showrunner, quality somehow somewhat improved.

Anne Beatts (https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=410339), who had previously worked on Saturday Night Live and more importantly, Square Pegs, was the showrunner for A Different World (https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=317594) in much of its first year.
