I'm a sucker for horror movies set in creepy villages/communities where all of the residents are hiding a secret. The opening had a Children Of The Corn vibe, but the ending was a bit meh, it was never boring though.

I had met Chris Raab at a convention in NYC back in 2011 and he gave me his movie for free. I decided to finally watch it now.

It's a short 15 minute film that he made with his co-stars from Jackass, Viva La Bam, and CKY. Probably the best thing about this was Felissa Rose from Sleepaway Camp as she played the hot MILF.



The "plot" focuses on this family where the wife (Felissa Rose) is having an affair with her dance instructor. The husband convinces the Fed-Ex delivery guy to take him to a local bar and he comes home plastered.

He then faceplants in the hotdog casserole dish at the table when he comes home.

Felissa rose was the one killing people in the first one right??

50 years after the original film, Leatherface lives with his adopted mom in a pretty much abandoned town in Texas. Idealist young people travel to the spot with plans to auction off the properties to turn the town into a trendy, urban center.

They claim to own the old orphanage where Leatherface lives and his adopted mother dies shortly after being evicted. Leatherface then goes on a killing spree against the people who disturbed him.

Meanwhile, Sally Hardesty who survived the original film, is a retired Texas Ranger who gets wind of Leatherface's location and vows to get her revenge.



Typical w/ most TCM sequels, this one ignores all of the prior ones and works as another direct sequel to the original.

It had some good moments, but the film was 'meh' as a whole.

You don't go into this one expecting a serious movie, but that's what makes it great. It's clearly for fans of the franchise



I liked that it tied into Retro Puppet Master (1999) and it looks as though it will lead into future films on what happened to those set of puppets.

AEW wrestlers Bunny and The Blade, who are diehard Full Moon fans, appeared in cameos.

Watched this over a course of several nights as this was 5 hours and 41 mins long.
Nice to see films like The Children, Eyes Of Fire, The Video Dead, Slumber Party Massacre 2, Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama, The Brain get discussed. Even the ultra low budget Canadian schlocker Things got a mention. Plus the Mexican horror films from Ruben Galindo Jr (Cemetery Of Terror, Grave Robbers, Don't Panic)

A Haunting in Venice (2023) on Netflix :thumbsup:

In the 3rd film of Kenneth Branagh's Hercule Poirot series, Poirot lives in self-imposed exile in Venice after not wanting to be bothered with people and cases anymore.

His friend, crime novelist Ariadne Oliver, tracks him down and convinces him to attend the séance at the palazzo of a famed opera singer, whose young daughter committed suicide, in order to expose the renowned medium as a fraud.



The palazzo used to be an orphanage where it is believed to be haunted by the spirits of orphaned children who were locked up and abandoned to die there during a city-wide plague. The children seek revenge against any current or former medical personnel who enter and also want more children to be with them in eternity.

A murder occurs after the séance and Poirot decides to lock everyone inside the palazzo until he finds out what happened. He also looks into the girl's suicide to see if she was indeed tortured by spirits or if there was something un-supernatural behind her death.




Based on Agatha Christie's novel Hallowe'en Party, the 41st novel in the Hercule Poirot series.

The film is also Tina Fey's first non-comedic role.

Set in Plymouth, Massachusetts, a crazy mob wreaks havoc at a superstore in preparation for their Black Friday sale. A few people get killed in the stampede and others were seriously injured. The incident was captured on cell phone and posted online where it went viral and received many "likes".

A year later, a masked killer wearing a John Carver mask is going after the friend group who posted the footage and the store shoppers responsible for the other customers' deaths.



Was the third feature length film based on a mock trailer from 2007's Grindhouse. A sequel is in development.

As someone who doesn't care for Thanksgiving, I loved this film.

Out There Halloween Mega Tape '22 :thumbsup: (A daytime talk-show host finds herself placed on a new program, and investigating a farmstead with a long history of alien encounters.)

Sequel to WNUF Halloween Special, and like WNUF it's made to look as if you are watching someone's VHS recording of a TV special. And also like WNUF the hightlights are the fake commercials, they also did a really good job of recreating the look of a 90s day time talk show (like Jerry Springer, Sally Jesse Raphel, etc)

The Children's Hour(1961)- Audrey Hepburn,Shirley MacLaine, James Garner

Karen Wright and Martha Dobie have been best friends since college. Now, together they own Wright and Dobie School for Girls with twenty students. They are working hard as headmistresses and teachers to grow the school and make it profitable. Karen is engaged with the local doctor Joe Cardin, who is the nephew of the powerful and influential Mrs. Amelia Tilford. The spiteful liar Mary, who is Amelia's granddaughter and a bad influence to the other girls, is punished by Karen after telling a lie. While this is happening Martha has an argument with her snoopy aunt Lily Mortar in another room. Lily accuses Martha of being jealous and having an unnatural relationship with Karen. Mary's roommate Rosalie Wells overhears the shouting and tells Mary what Mrs. Mortar had said about her niece. The malicious Mary accuses Karen and Martha of being lesbians to her grandmother and Amelia spreads the gossip to the parents of the students who quickly withdraw them from the school. Karen and Martha lose a lawsuit against Amelia and have their lives destroyed. Further, Karen calls off her engagement with Joe when he asks her if what was said about Martha and she was true. The lie ends in a tragedy.

This is one of those films that has passed through many hands, and different actors attached, glad the film turned out as good as it did as is not often the case when films have such long development time.
