DivisionCopJinny 08-20-2001, 03:42 PM I'm confused...is that the title of a new cartoon series? ------------------ - Amy "The truth hurts, but it will set you free." facts fan 08-20-2001, 04:40 PM It will be a live action show. A play of sorts - with real people playing the Scooby characters. I think it is sort of a parody but the director is a big fol fan so I don't think he is going to trash the original show just bring back fond memories. It will be at an Improvisational theater near Wrigly Field in Chicago famous for producing Saturday Night Live performers and comedy writers. DivisionCopJinny 08-20-2001, 06:05 PM That sounds kinda neat...I live too far away to check it out though http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif julian bozo 10-17-2001, 07:13 PM I love Scooby Doo. I was just thinking about this post for some odd reason the other day. Did it ever really happen? tv star collector 05-31-2006, 08:24 AM There is a real-life connection of sorts: Mindy Cohn (FACTS OF LIFE's Natalie) replaced Nicole Jaffe as the voice of Velma Dinkley in WHAT'S NEW, SCOOBY- DOO? There's also an interesting connection between the "Scoobies" on BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and the "real" Scooby gang. For the live-action movies, they cast Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) as Daphne Blake. NMKfan 06-02-2006, 05:15 PM Will it be on Cartoon Network or what? D ------------------ Jo: A clock. Nat: Uh. Especially since Lisa kept laughing in that ep where Mrs. Garrett threatens to hit Jo with her frying pan (it's been so long I'm losing my FOL knowledge lol I think that was the ep Next Door though...)
