View Full Version : Remember Redd Foxx's The Royal Family Show? isiahthomas 08-20-2002, 02:22 PM This show came on in the late 80's i think before he passed away & it came on the CBS network. Della Reese played his wife on the show & Larenz Tate who played O-Dog in Menace II Society movie was his son. This show wasn't funny at all & it went off the air quick. I know he had money problems before he passed away & he had problems with the IRS. He was deep in debt. Remember how he used to throw his bills away on Sanford & Son? He probably did the same thing in real life too which got him in trouble. Impressions 08-20-2002, 07:06 PM John Elroy Sanford was born in St. Louis on December 9, 1922. So he had to be 69 when he passed away. He suffered from a massive hard-attack. Sean Snow 08-20-2002, 07:13 PM Redd Fox actually died in Della Reese's arms during a taping of one of the episodes. It was rehersal and from what I've read Della held him, screamed for help and begged Redd not to die. |
