(The Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC Divisional Playoffs by beating the NY Giants 38-7.)
(Ralph just watched the game in the Kramden apartment. Alice comes by.)
Alice: "Did your Giants win?"
Ed: "It was a dark, dark day."
Ralph: "38 points to 7."
Ed: "38 pernts. That wasn't a blitz. That was a bloutz."
Ralph: "I so wanted the Giants to advance."
Ed: "I wanted the Giants to win and have their playoff game be shown on Nickelodeon like they did the last two years."
(Ralph rolls his eyes.)
Ralph: "Why would you want that?"
Ed: "Well, with all of that slime it makes me feel like a kid."
Ralph: "That figures. You are always acting like one."
Ed: "With all the slime coming out of those pipes, reminds me of the sewer as well."
(Ralph rolls his eyes.)
Ralph: "Norton, now we are going to have to have a Super Bowl without a NY team. How are we going to survive?"
Ed: "I wonder how YOU survive eating all of that food?"
Ralph (yells): "GET OUT! GET OUT! GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET OUT!"
(Ed leaves.)
(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)
Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!"
(Crowd cheers.)
