Peggy is reading a pirate-story to Seven and dreams she is Princess Scarlett and Jefferson (!) is Prince Paco the Magnificent. Scarlett is being captured by Captain Courage (Al), but when Paco wants to rescue her, he's attracted more by the cabinboy/girl (Marcy). Then they get all captured by Rubio the Cruel (Steve) and Scarlett has to duell with Rubio. She loses, but I don't remember how they eventually get free... Anyone? That particular episode was a little weak-it's not worth taping Jimbo 08-27-2002, 06:38 PM My favorite episodes tend to be those in which Al gives a speech. Two that come to mind: The "Jim Jupiter" episode in which Peggy wins the services of a local T.V. exercise show host, Jim Jupiter, "The Healthiest Man in Chicago". Jim spends a week with Peggy, determined to convince her of the benefits of exercise and proper diet. Instead, Peggy soon has Jim sitting with her on the sofa, eating bon-bons and watching Oprah. Shortly afterward, Jim keels over and dies on the air while doing his show. Peggy blames herself. Al makes a great speech at the end extolling the virtues of the lowly cockroach, and how we should all emulate the eating habits of this noble insect, rather than render ourselves obsolete as Jim did through his "healthy" lifestyle. I also enjoyed the "election" episode, where the Bundy family is mobilized into political activism when the city council proposes a tax on beer. After the tax is initially passed, Al makes a stirring street corner speech, in which he inspires thousands to riot until the tax is repealed. Adam the Great 09-25-2002, 11:29 PM The episode "How Green Was My Apple Episode" was a classic. That was the one, which guest starred Danny Bonaduce, Dave Madden, and Gary Coleman. When Gary said to Al "Whatu talkin About Bundy" it was hilarious. Adam the Great 09-25-2002, 11:37 PM Another fabulous episode was when Kelly sung the song "Fever" in a red dress. That episode was entitled "Can't Dance, Don't Ask me". TVFactFan 09-26-2002, 12:55 AM Originally posted by Adam the Great Another fabulous episode was when Kelly sung the song "Fever" in a red dress. Yes i like that episode-the one when Al and jefferson are fighting about property space. The tree branch was suppose to be hanging in jeffeson's yard or vice versa. How bout this funny scene in that episode Al is about the to cut the wire over his yard Marcy: Hey Hey-that's our phone line Al: it's on my property And then the wire falls in the swimming pool and Marcy gets shocked. Ericguy 10-16-2002, 01:43 PM First, there in no episode from beyond season five that even remotely qualify as a classic, and surely none with that brat seven...UGH. The two best, and its very hard to pick, I would have to say are Labor Day barbacue where they eat Marcie's dead aunts ashes, and the one where Al tries to return an old library book from thirty years ago and tells off the librarain because Al actually wins in that one. Best quotes from Labor Day Steve: Marcie and I never eat red meat. Would you mind cooking up this salmon I brought? Al: Sure thing buddy. (flings fish over the fence) No fish will ever touch my grill! Library book Al: I returned the book Degrut: Thats impossible I would have remembered if you did Al: You weren't here Degrut: I'm always here Al: Not that day. That was the day of the big hostess cake heist. You were rounded up for questioning. I still roll just thinking about it! xxspedxx 12-05-2003, 12:10 AM My two fav. eppisodes is when Al and No Ma'am are putting the sattelite on Al's roof, and they keep falling off. Every time one of them fell of I was brought to tears from laughing so hard, and I also liked the eppisode where No Ma'am was trying to save Psychodad. Chain Gang Member 12-08-2003, 08:04 PM Two episodes I liked were How green was my apple and the one with the big storm.I liked when Kelly said "I won't go until I get Lucky" then Jefferson said "That'll take about 3 seconds." Those are funny and I also like the one where No Maam forms a church and Al is the preacher. ClassicTV4Ever 12-11-2003, 05:20 PM "Hot Off the Grill" "You Better Shop Around" dlemond 12-11-2003, 05:25 PM Originally posted by Ericguy Library book Al: I returned the book Degrut: Thats impossible I would have remembered if you did Al: You weren't here Degrut: I'm always here Al: Not that day. Bake a pie, eat a pie. Classic. BundyFan 01-07-2004, 12:03 AM I really never had a favorite episode. I loved them all except the No'MA'MA episodes. I thought those were stupid. Actually, my favorite episodes were the older ones with Al and Steve. DumbassDiva 02-18-2004, 07:44 PM Hey,man. Don't Bundy that book! :D Ant-Lox 03-06-2004, 04:04 PM My fav two is the two-parter where they stay in the haunted hotel, I havent seen those Eps in years though. hughpuppies 03-18-2004, 03:50 AM The episode where the aliens come to the Bundy's house and find out they need Al's used socks as fuel for their ship. The million mile car and Al win but when he gets a new car it is wrecked. Where bud went on a tv dating game for guys who had sex 2 times or less. Where they went to Swamp Water, Florida and stayed at that hotel and there was a axe murderer. Where Bud could not find a date and his friends show up and he has a Manniquine as his date. Al tries out for a TV commercial and has to play against real proffession sports players. Where Al and Jefferson thought they could rewire the house after they find a light switch that they didn't know what it did. Where Al got one of Kelly's boyfriends to build him a dog house. Chain Gang Member 03-22-2004, 05:28 PM I liked the episode where the aliens take Al's socks randsta 04-18-2004, 11:39 AM I havent got a best episode as there all good  I like several the episopde where Kelly gets to be the weather girl and crashes the car into the garage at the end and the episode where Al has a shoot with some fitties  Mace Dolex 01-30-2015, 02:12 AM I think the show was at its peak around 1991-1994 with episodes focusing on Bud getting humiliated the funniest. - the one where Bud starts dating his teacher and afterwards Al goes to Bud's school thinking that the teacher as an old woman robbing the cradle. - the virgin hotline episode in which Bud goes to a girls house to get her to abstinate from sex and gets a surprise when the girl turns out to be hot. |
