Just curious... Which of these make you feel more wealthy,the value of your home going up or your wages going up?

If the value of my home goes up, so too will my property taxes. If my wages don't go up too, then by definition I have less available money to spend on discretionary items.

So, I feel more comfortably being "spendy" if my income goes up but my cost of living stays flat.

None in the survey. Hearing more and more of the housing prices dropping in the High Priced Housing world in CA. I owned once on my own in CA and no more....
