Well, I've been thinking about Jamie's school. I mean, I'm putting her in Eastland and all, but I'm trying to decide to let her stay in the dorms or at the house. I really enjoyed the dorms...to a point that is, but Tootie and Nat seemed to enjoy living at the house and going to Eastland. What do you think?

I think you'll like it. Your dad was going to put the pool table, dart board, and the other games down in the basement. We were going to make that into a rec room. Besides the master bedroom, on the 2nd floor, there are 4 other bedrooms up there as well. I guess you and Sam can each take your pick of which room you want, but we will probably put the babies in the room across from us. I also think you will love the kitchen. It is HUGE. I'm going to LOVE being able to cook in there. It's my dream kitchen. *smiles to herself*

Jamie said she wants to be at home, so that's that. Jamie will be staying at home, I'll give Sam the same option. Geez Mrs. G, do you realize we are going to have FIVE kids under one roof! You've really got to take a look. Rick has painted some of the rooms. He had a Noah's Ark theme in the babies room. Ya know 2 by 2 :lol: I guess we'll have to change that to 3 by 3. I know how hard it was to move on, Alex. Either way I would be leaving the house that holds the memories my husband and I once made. Doctor: Okay, we normally don't let patients leave this early. But seeing that you said it is an emergency...*looks at tootie and she nods her head* Just sign here...Here and....*lifts up papers and scans for the proper place to sign* Here.
Tootie: *signs everywhere needed. Looks up at the doctor with a questioning look* Is the cab outside?
Doctor: I'm more than positive it is.

Doctor: Okay, well you're ready to go. Do you need help to the car?
Tootie: *looks around at the two car seats and the big diaper bag, than back at the doctor* Just a little.
Doctor: *smiles* I'll get one of the male nurses to help you.

*minutes later two male nurses help Tootie, Jeffery, and Alexander to the cab*
Tootie: Thank you...Can you make sure that if Alex O'Brain come to visit he gets this? *hands the letter to one of the nurses*
Nurse: Sure

*closes door and the cab takes off to the airport*

*pushes stroller towards gate 13. As she's walking she drops the diaper bag. Turns around and picks it up. She takes a few more steps and drops her purse. Turns around and picks it up. Looks up and whispers*

*sighs and continues to walk on, Jeffery begins to cry. She closes her eyes takes a deep breath puts down her purse and the diaper bag, reaches into the diaper bag and takes out a binki, gives it to Jeffery*

Shh sweetie. Don't cry. Just give me a minute and I'll feed you.

*She picks up her purse and diaper bag and continues on, she looks up and sighs*

Finally, gate 13

*finds a seat places her stuff on it and looks down at Jeffery who is now sleeping soundly just like Alex. She sighs again, sits down puts her hands on her face and cries. All the while thoughts of Alex reading the letter are running through her head. Whispers*

God, I hope he understands...

My Dearest Alex,
I am so sorry I left you the way I did. You have given me so much strength in the few months of my time with you. You have opened your arms and heart to my daughter and I, and for that I will always be grateful. I love you that I truly do.
But there are times in my life when my depression comes before my needs, and by needs I mean: love from someone else, the feel of someone's lips against my own, the look that let's me know I'm safe, and the voice of an angel whispering the three most important, tender words there are, "I love you". Everything and anything you have given me in the past five and a half months. I wish, with all my heart, I had the strength to give you all the love you need, all the love that I know you deserve, but I don't, and I never will.
I remember seeing you for the first time. You were walking up to me right after you had gotten off the plane, and even though I had never met you before something felt right, like I knew it were you before you even reached me. I couldn't gather my thoughts fast enough to even remember my name. Your smile was so warm and inviting, and when you took my hand in your own I knew you had to of been the most handsome, charming, and loving guy I would ever meet, and I was right.
I watched your every move that night, hoping that you didn't feel my staring every now and than. Knowing that I should feel a slight bit of nervousness, and anticipating the feeling would rise eventually, but it never did. Something in the way your eyes would light up whenever you smiled, or the confidence you had in me when I first stepped out of my wheelchair, escorted only by your arm, wouldn't let me feel the nervousness that I anticipated, but I felt rather safe and sheltered by you.
You gave me the ability to love again. You showed me that I shouldn't lose all hope in myself, that someone would always have faith in me.
The last time you left my hospital room I was crushed. I wanted to scream your name, run into your arms and never let you leave my side again, but I couldn't. I must have sat and stared at that door, tears streaming down my face, for what felt like an eternity. And now I sit here, writing you this letter, telling you goodbye.
Why you fell in love with me will remain a mystery to me, I don't deserve your love, or anyone else's. Maybe it's my depression talking, or maybe I truly believe I don't, but either way I will continue to run. As you read this now I am in the process of leaving the state. I will not specify where I am going, or how I am getting there. If you want to find me that bad you can figure that out on your own.
As I write this, I think back to our times together. I'm reminded of the wonderful evenings we've shared. The effect you have on my daughter and how happy you make not only her, but also myself. I remember how happy you were earlier today when I said I would marry you. Tears of joy ran down your cheeks and I kissed each one away. When you slipped that engagement ring on my finger I felt like the luckiest woman in the world, and I was. The feeling I got watching you as you stared at Jeffery while feeding him will remain with me for the rest of my life.

*Alex finishes reading the letter as the cab pulls up to the airport. He goes running inside looking gate to gate. He spots Tootie with the twins about to board the plane.*

*Alex goes running through the security checkpoint. Security personel run after Alex and tackle him just outside of the gate Tootie is at. Alex is screaming Tootie's name and pleading with her ignoring the security as they are trying to handcuff him.*

Security Guard: Ms. I'm sorry, but rules are rules.

*her eyes scan from his face to his name tag that reads, J. Harris*

*she can see the surprise on his face that she knows his name, and points to his name tag, he looks down, nods and she continues. She goes on to tell him, breifly and not with so much detail, about how Alex and her know each other, both their losts and what happened earlier that day. She looks up towards Alex time to time watching as the two other security guards grill him*

Tootie: You have to understand. He'll be out of here after I talk to him. We'll both go our seperate ways, I'll get another flight to North Carolina with my....*stops and remembers the twins than whispers* Oh god, the twins...

*tootie looks at him surprised. Unaware of the fact that he was the head of the airport security, he can see her surprise and smiles than winks. One of the guards uncuffs Alex and Tootie walks over to the twins, leaving Mr. Harris, Alex and the other guards behind*

Mr. Harris: Steven I want you to stay with them, don't be directly over them. Keep your distance but be close enough just in case this one *nods his head in Alexs direction* tries anything stupid.

*Tootie looks back at Alex as she feels him staring at her and makes eye contact with him, then takes a deep breath and breaks the contact. She picks up Jeffery as he starts to fuss, and takes out a bottle to begin to feed him*

*The flight attendant than walks over to Tootie*

Flight Attendant: Ms. Will you be joining us on this flight?
