What are some songs that were a hit on teh charts and then after a feww eeks suddenly vanished never to be heard from again? The first one that comes to mind for me is Bloodhound gang's song. It's so bloody annoying, and right when I forogtten all about it for years, my radio station decides to play it. :rolleyes: Got any one hit wonders?

Oh lord, the Blue song. I haven't heard that song in ages. LOL me and my freinds had a huuuge debate a couple years back about what they were really saying when they sing "dah boo dee dah boo die" The guys came up with "If I were green, I would die" and the grls came up with "I'm in need of a guy" :lol:

I was just thinking about this one group tonight that was a one hit wonder. I've got a few to add to the list.

Meredith Brooks- Bitch- I think she's had two other songs out besides "Bitch", but they never topped the recognition she got from Bitch.

Bif Naked- Just a Moment of Weakness- This was the group I was thinking of. What happened to them? I loved the "Just a Moment of Weakness" song.

Some other band that I can't remember the name of- Can't remember the song either- I know the video takes place in a shopping mall. A bald guy was the lead singer. It isn't the Smashing Pumpkins. One of the band members was Danielle Brisbrois (Stephanie from All in the Family) I know that this band broke up. The lead singer was tired of singing the song in concert. If only I could remember the name of the song.....

Grrr!! I HATE Blue! That song is SOOOOO annoying! but I agree with you on both!

My grade 7 teacher heard her son playing that bloodhound gang song and she's like thats a cool song and then she heard the lyrics and was like ugh! haha it was so funny and she likes the teenage dirt bag song. hahaha

Len- Steal My Sunshine

Paula Cole- Isn't exactly a one hit wonder, because she had two hit songs. I think that's as far as she'll go in her career. Anybody remember her songs? Where Have All the Cowboys Gone? I loved that song, and the other song was the theme to Dawson's Creek. I hated that song so much. I heard that thing every two seconds it seemed.

I believe the song "She's So High" was sung by Tal Bachman, who did sort of just disappear into thin air... :)

"Macarena" by Los Del Rio. Geez, they played that song all the time here. I mean, I still here it at weddings and stuff, but it's not on the charts, evidently!

Orgy (2 hit wonder)- Blue Monday and Stitches- I don't think they even had another single after Stitches.

Tal Bachman had another song it was called "sleepless" or something like that but thats all he had.

Um...I dunno wut song comes to my mind. OOOOOOO, A Thousand Miles, that song annoys me to death. EVIL. I used to love that song but now it's just plain annoying.
