Kate's House 5:00 P.M.
Morgan! i'm home! *no answer* Morgan! *walks into the kitchen and sees a note on the table, so she reads it.*

The note reads: Mom,
Dad stopped by and took me to the mall.
We'll be back before dinner.

Morgan

Kate: *sits down on the couch and watches tv.*

2 hours later Morgan and Louis come home.

Morgan: Hi mom! We're home!

Kate: Morgan, where have you been? It's 9:00!

Morgan: Didn't you read the note on the kitchen table?

Kate: Yes I did. It said that you would be back by dinner. Dinner was 3 hours ago!

Morgan: We must have lost track of time!

Kate: Go upstairs and go to bed!

Morgan: Why? It's only 9:00!

Kate: Because I said so! Now go!

Morgan: Fine! *goes upstairs, but listens to their conversation at the top of the stairs.*

Louis: I'm sorry we're so late.

Kate: You sorry? That's a first!

Louis: I just wanted to spend as much time with her as I could. I hardly ever get to see her.

Kate: Well, maybe if you quit acting like a jerk so much, I'd let you see her more!

Louis: Well, I know another way that I could see her more.

Kate: Oh, what's that?

Louis: I want her to come and live with me.

Kate: What?

Louis: With your job, your never at home to see her, and spend time with her. But if she lives with me, then I will be there all the time with her.

Kate: She's MY daughter, and she's NOT going to live with you!

Louis: Just think about it! okay?

Kate: Whatever! Goodbye Louis!

Louis: Goodbye! *Leaves*

Morgan: *goes to her room and gets in bed.*

Kate: *Just stands there and starts to cry*

Kate's daughter's name is...Amanda....and when is this taking place? I'm confused.

I have to give you a lil bi of credit, this is much better than your 1st one, but I have to say, I don't think Bonnie Bedelia would ever utter the word 'whatever' as Kate McCafferty. Maybe in another movie, but.... no.

I have to agree with ya. I cannot see Kate saying the word 'whatever'. And I've been told that i have an extremely vivid imagination.

Jinny: I don't know, but she looks like she's been crying, and like she hasn't slept in forever.

Magda: I hope she's okay.

Jinny: Do you think that there's something wrong with Morgan?

Magda: I don't know, but I am about to go and find out.

Jinny: What do you mean?

Magda: I mean, I'm going to talk to Captain. *Goes to Kate's office*

Magda: Captain, can we talk?

Kate: Sure. Sit down.

Magda: Thanks. *sits down*

Kate: Know, what is it that you wanted to talk about?

Magda: Is everything okay? you don't look to good today.

Kate: I'm fine. Don't worry about me.

Magda: Are you sure?

Kate: I'm positive.

Magda: Okay. Just remember, I'm here for you whenever you ned me.

Kate: Thanks. I'll remember.

Magda: *smiles and leaves*

Kate: *crys*

Jinny: Well, what did she say?

Magda: She said that she's fine.

Jinny: She's lying!

Magda: Jinny!

Magda: i know. I just wish that there was something that I could do.

Magda: Like what?

Jinny: Go talk to Morgan.
