When i liked this show i never in hell thot i'd see the day that i'd post this but here it goes....

Ive been sicka this show for AWHILE....i mean after you've seen like every episode 7456437 times its just....annoying. I woke up 1 morning and i started to despise it lol. It's kinda ******** tho, like the themes song's all "the facts of life, facts of life" **** i got it stuck in my head now. NEways after u hear all of joe's insults and stuff they get lame. Like when she says "u should cuz spend ur time lookin at the mirror" or whatever and "adults dont stompt their feet when they dont get chinese food" after u hear it all it aint funny no more.

The acting was good [minus julie whatsherface] but why is every1 obsessed w/ the actors and why arent they ever in big screen movies. No1 even really knows about em cept for the ppls that watch fol and stuff.

I'm touched you're in a sharing mood, but share with someone else. It's late, I'm tired, and people complaining about FOL get to me. Especially when those of us who would love to see it again are unable to. Go complain to the wall, it's be a better listener I do believe.

Um, if you don't like Mrs. Garrett (which is a sacrilege to true FOL fans), and thought it was "gay" how they made Blair's character---who happens to be my favorite of the girls, and she was quite comical and necessary---why are ya hangin' around here where actual fans of the show gather? :rolleyes:

OK, this confuses me. You dont like a show, why do you feel we all needed to know? You dont like a character on the show, why do we need to know? We dont care...that's your opinion. Dont watch it!

I must admit, when this show was on N @ N- I wasn't too fond of it either. I guess I didn't give it too much of a chance. It came to Hallmark, and now its one of my favorite shows. Yeah, I still don't like season 1 all that much- but the rest of the episodes I've seen are good.

Obsessions-
Yeah, I'm not going to complain that you grew tired of FOL. Believe me, its happened to me numerous times. You can only watch so much of something before you say to yourself, "If I see this or hear this one more time, I'm going to kick the tv set over." Another thing that leads to getting tired of something quickly is if you overkill it on yourself. Take one of your favorite songs for example. What if you repeat that song about 50 times every single day? Chances are that you'll grow sick and tired of it by the time the week is out.

Okay, I think I'm done for my confession.

Quit complaining....but I dont really care about an opinion of a J.lo fan.

Although I do watch the show I do agree with you on SOME (not all) of the stuff you said. The Blair Warner character really doesn't impress me but the other three do. Natalie is my favorite. She has a nice voice and she is really beautiful. She will might be my role model some day . . . who knows. Anyways, I think you're right of growing tired of show. I can relate to that because it has happened to me on several occasions, especially with The Facts of Life. I'm not trying to put down this wonderful show but listening to same type of conversation and insults over and over again does get a tad bit boring. I wouldn't say Mrs. Garrett was boring because she had all kinds of interesting things to say. But I couldn't say that about Tootie, Jo, or Blair. The acting was GREAT . . . especially with Natalie! She was so good showing her emotions and expressing herself as well as the other characters.
The Facts of Life is a fair show and had plenty of it's ups and downs.

I agree 100 % with you. You do have a RIGHT to tell the person to chill because she/he is basically accusing you of something that you didn't do or say. I find it sad when people do that because obviously they can't keep there FACTS straight and instead blame it on other people because of it. Just my thoughts.

If that person had made the topic a sensible phrase, like, "This show sucks" (even though it doesn't), none of this would have happened. They just may wanna start trouble.

Outsiders? Don't you think that is kind of gruff? A better term to use is guest. The term outsiders feels like people aren't welcomed or allowed here. And with that term it does have a way to tick other people off (both fans and non-fans of FOL). With that form of expression (outsiders) it is like saying "Get out and stay out, we don't want you. You are not one of us". OMG...ok...back to the REAL topic of this thread. Someone doesnt like the show. We get that, but do you really need to let us know that? I understand that it's your opinion, but this is mine. I think that if you dont like something, unless you can change it, dont say anything about it. Especially if you're saying it to a group of people that you know are going to react like we are. There's no way that you posted this topic and didnt know it was going to turn out this way.

Yes you do need to chill...and you need to not bring jesus into this. It's simple just don't post stuff anymore about the FOL if you don't like it. And don't watch if if you're going to complain about the actresses.

That is really not true. People do sometimes question their gender as in how they should act and do things. I am at the piont right now. But people who are thinking of becoming the opposite sex are classified as "transgendered". "I'm in the wrong body" (says the female) is a perfect example of a transgendered person.

I have never associated The Facts of Life with the sex change. Never. It might seem that way to you (because you're not familiar with all of these terms and stuff) but if you take a good look what I am saying you'll understand eventually. Sorry to burst your bubble but I haven't contradicted myself at all even though you wish I would.

No you've done it. You said you neevr really thought Facts was a wonderful show until you saw it on Hallmark. but then why were you all excited when thge fandemonium was pushed back? You were excited because you would have been able to tape it. If you didn't lik ethe show, why would you tape it. If you want proof, I'll bump that post back up.

Oh, I see what you are getting at. At that time I wasn't interested in the show but my friend (who so happens to be a girl) wanted to see the show again (she hasn't seen since she was 11) and didn't have TV Land nor Nick at Nite. So being a friend as I am I decided to tape it for her. But when I heard that the marathon was going to pushed back I was excited because I didn't have the tapes ready to record the show. But if the marathon wasn't pushed back than my friend wouldn't have gotten to see it. But at the end, I was able to tape it and my friend saw the show for the first time (in years) which caused me to be excited because my friend was happy. :D

This is to early for me to hear that kind of stuff. I am a guy, not a girl. I haven't decided yet what I'm going to do. And besides, Transexuals don't need tampons because they have no ovaries thus there won't be any bleeding.

Okay this thread is getting WAY outta hand. . . . .It's getting way to much attention that isn't even deserved. This whole sex change thing is way off topic...listen craig or whatever your name is if you want to do that than u go right ahead- whatever floats your boat - I think we should just leave this thread alone becase all it is is a way to remind us of negative things that one person decided to piss all us FOL fans off with...

Thank you for the advice. :) BUT . . . it isn't the matter of being the way you are but rather correcting the problem if the person has one. With me, I'm not sure. But you do have a good piont about nobody caring. BUT, the topic of sex changes in this thread wasn't brought up by me.

I entirely agree with lizzie on this one why should we be fighting about this? why should we care about why you hate FOL!?!?!?
