Before there actually was a proper cinematic adaptation of Miami Vice? The Lethal Weapon films of course, take place in Los Angeles instead of Miami but doesn't Lethal Weapon still almost have the same (https://miamiviceonline.com/index.php?/topic/3507-comparisons-between-miami-vice-magnum-pi-and-the-lethal-weapon-series/) formula as Miami Vice: drug smuggling bad buys, good cop / bad cop, black guy / white guy, but with less pastel.

I havent seen Miami Vice but I like the first Lethal Weapon movie.......

I dont like movies that get stupid and corny..... The first LW was good but after that they were just as stupid to me as Naked gun was!!
