I never understood in the season 3 episode Odd Man Out why was Kevin and Paul were rejecting Doug. He was nice. Maybe they thought he was too desperate and needy?

I never understood in the season 3 episode Odd Man Out why was Kevin and Paul were rejecting Doug. He was nice. Maybe they thought he was too desperate and needy?

Doug was portrayed as the slow, overweight kid with very few clues. Kevin wanted a challenge - he got that with Paul. Whether it be shooting hoops in the driveway or swapping rare Baseball cards. Whereas Doug was pretty much a pushover that had almost childlike interests such as playing Tiddlywinks and eating all the junk under the sun.

It was good to see Doug giving Kevin some cheek back in the later episodes when he teamed up with Tommy Kissling. :lol:

Yeah agree I think it was personality difference doug was more outgoing and talkative while kevin was more introverted quite he had few friends Doug seemed more open to having new friends in his life while kevin was not
