I voted Ring Dings ! They were the ones I remember my Mom buying , so I guess it was because my siblings and I preferred them to Ding Dongs! ;)

Ding Dongs were one of the many highlights of my childhood. I loved them :)

I voted Ding Dongs, but I'm sure I would have enjoyed the knock-off brand. (We typically had Dreamies (fake Twinkies), Swiss Rolls (fake Ho Hos), Zingers (fake Suzy Qs), etc.)

Rings Dings. Although they are in season now, I enjoy Hostess Scary Cakes.

My family just ate Hostess products

We mainly had Tasty Kake baked treats though ! A Philadelphia based brand of little cakes and pies! ;)

The jingle used to go " So much fun to put in your tummy, so much fun to put in your tummy , "Tasty Kake cakes and pies ";)

They really are good. Seemed to taste more natural not as preservative filled or something ! The pies are great ! They don't have all the sugar coating on the outside like Hostess does !! ;)Still being made back east, mainly Philly / Jersey area but hard to find nationwide !!:confused:

No you didn't, I never heard of Ring Dings either.

I didn't eat any of this stuff growing up, mother baked all the sugar stuff...they were good/bad enough. Kept our 2 dentists in town busy.

Just bought a box of their cupcakes today.

My mom and I used to enjoy Ding Dongs and we would always buy two boxes of them because one box was Mom's and the other box was mine but it wasn't until we watched The Closer reruns that we liked them even more like Kyra Sedwick's character did but then Hostess changed the taste of Ding Dongs and we quit buying them. I have never ever eaten Ring Dings because my stores don't sell them and are Ring Dings worth buying for their taste?

Just bought a box of their cupcakes today.

How cool !! Did you buy them in a store or online ? Years ago out here I could randomly find TastyKakes , once in a while maybe one flavor not the whole line at a store ! Than just a few years ago Food 4 Less had a couple flavors of the pies for a while , I was delighted ! :)( Now of course my local Food 4 Less closed down) ! :(

So tonight I did a Ring Ding and a Ding Dong at the same time. And the winner is……Ring Dings. Seemed a bit thicker, with a more solid chocolate coating.

Also had tastier sodium aluminum phosphate. Yum.
