As for her being a witch, I thought at first he didn't believe it, but she proved it with some hocus pocus. tcr1701 12-02-2021, 07:00 PM And in a later episode (We're in for a Bad Spell) Samantha finds Darrin's name in Aunt Clara's book of "spellees" and tells Darrin that it reads that he is "going to marry a witch and live happily ever after." He asks her if it really says that and Samantha admits it didn't but she's a witch so she knows it's "true." This would seem to suggest they were fated to meet because of a spell.
