My aunt had a giant crush on Engelbert Humperdinck and I don't know why he was my aunt's big crush at the time but everytime she would see Engelbert on TV or anywhere else my aunt would get all dreamy and stare off into space. And when she would go shopping with my mom she would spend her money on Engelbert Humperdinck record albums and each time my aunt listened to After The Loving or any song she would get the album cover and cuddle it like a child cuddling a teddy bear. But even today my aunt still likes Engelbert and likes his songs a lot

Engelbert's wife Patricia Healey died this past Thursday, age 85, having contracted COVID-19. They were married for 56 years.

His many fans are reaching out with messages of condolence. Engelbert is still a very active singer and maintains YouTube submissions, like his "Tuesday Museday."

Thanks for posting that! I have quite a few Dean Martin Show DVDs but had not seen that performance. Lots of nice-looking women on his show -- I like to play the intro over and over just to see one of the dancers (the one with the darkest hair) -- so beautiful.

When I was really little, my grandma had his "Release Me" 8-Track tape. It was among a few tapes she used to play in her 1966 Chevy II as she drove me around.
