Movie was "Five on the Black Hand side that was released in Oct of 1973. The Good Times characters were

Drunken Naomi from season 2

Druggie Diana's father from season 3

Larry, Thelma;s Boyfriend from season 3

Story wise, the movie had nothing to do with ‘Good Times, but it did kind of show there could be an audience for black family programming.

I know the movie had nothing with Good times I was pointing the characters from Good times. You cant be this ****ing stupid

Based on argument of some members around here about the spinoff, I guess one can say that since few characters on GoodTmes were also in the '73 movie "Five on the Black Hand Side", GoodTimes is spinoff of that movie :D

I was not going at you, because I thought you were making it like 'Good Times' was a spinoff of the movie. I was making a separate point of how the movie helped show Hollywood, there could be a market for a black family show.

No I was just surprised to see her with so many of the actors who appeared in Good times
